Time travel to early CvS 2 tournaments, tell everyone to enjoy it while lasts; the closest things we are gonna get to CvS 3 are Akuma vs. Geese in Tekken 7 and Ryu/Ken vs. Terry in Smash Ultimate. . . . Maybe current KOF can do something crazy and give Team Street Fighter and/or Team Tekken. That'd be cool.

It’s bullshit because other Tekken characters don’t have the amount of power that Gouki and Geese have. Even Eliza, another meter character isn’t even that much bullshit (that has to do to her being extremely technical)

not good for Tekken in "every way". they break fundamental rules and have so many more options than regular characters. they are "fine" against each other, but bullshit versus normal characters. there's a reason they, alongside recent dlc, are almost always present in any top 8. how many vanilla characters do you see in top 8 anymore?

There's only literally one good Akuma player in the world which is Super Akouma. Awais Honey used to be the best but he's playing KoF these days. Super Akouma has not won anything big since forever. Just because there are certain characters in top 8 doesn't mean they're broken. You need to look at the broader picture. Akuma is in the top 5 least played characters online since season 1. This kind of rhetoric is so insulting to the players. Like, Arslan reached top 8 because of his killer instincts, laser focus and on point reads and reactions. Not because of his character. Knee had a perfect run at EVO because of his poking, reads, perfects punishes, patience and super defensive play style. Not because of his character. Characters do help to an extent but players are the primary reason for their success.
