Usyk is 6" smaller, 7" shorter reach, 30 lbs lighter than Fury. 🥊🥊🥊 Usyk deserve to be the number 1 Pound-For-Pound best fighter together with Naoya Inoue and Terence Crawford. As an old guy, let me say this: Hold on to this moment. It's one you'll trot out many times over your next fifty years. Frazier-Ali 1 was that way for me. Like the Ali-Frazier fight, this one is a small but spectacular moment in a world-wide turbulent setting, with multiple wars, economic hardship, passionate political and cultural division... And aside from the boxing ins-&-outs and nuts-&-bolts that we love as fans, it's a great, great story, with great characters, and that--hopefully--will reach a wider audience in time.

This is always a debate. We will never know who could beat whom in their prime. Ali beat many greats, with their varied skill sets, in their primes. That's a fact. He's spot on with the one voice. I don't know how SugarHill put up with John Fury. He was hardly able to say what he wanted at the times he wanted to due to JF constantly sounding off. I'm not saying the outcome would have been different. But I don't think it helped Tyson's situation

Usyk won because he's the definition of tenacious and has an iron jaw, but he was helped by Fury not protecting the right side of his head. I think Fury of 5 or 6 years ago may have moved fast enough to slip those punches and keep his hands low to work the body and set up the uppercut. That said, mid-thirties Fury got rocked first by an Ngannou left to the head and now by a monster left headshot by Usyk in the 9th. If Fury wants to blame someone, rather than Putin he should blame his coaches for not correcting that before he entered the ring with Usyk.

Teddy Atlas is becoming a believer without realizing it, trying to define something that is God made. Usyk has that character in Christ. God bless you Teddy, you will come to know that Lord.

I still wouldn't rank Usyk as highly as Holyfield because he doesn't have all those names on his resume like Evander, but what he did was historic. He truly deserves an all-time great ranking.
