Aw man, it's so awesome you're listening to these guys now, but from their Holocausto de la Morte album onwards is when they really solidify their style of more atmospheric horror movie death metal. But hey, you do you, the fact this band gets any further attention, even if they're now disbanded (RIP Killjoy), is a win in its own right. If there's any chance of you listening to more of their songs on the channel, then I got a fair number of recommendations from the rest of their albums. I can’t believe you are reviewing this. In my eyes this album is pretty underground. Classic and just a creepy masterpiece for it’s time. One of the first metal albums I ever heard back long long ago.

nice album i managed to buy the 2010 katzenjammer issue which comes with a poster signed by killjoy and a razor blade and toe tag with his blood on it i wonder how much they go for now even though i would never sell it. RIP killjoy

I got this album in the mail when I was inn high school in 1987 while creating a punk/metal fanzine in Michigan. A classmate of mine corresponded with Killjoy, the vocalist. She ended-up going down to Ohio to spend weekends with him. Apparently he had a bunch of snakes.

Great that you don't only do later Death Metal. I'm really happy that you go all the way back to the beginning of Death and Thrash Metal as well. Having said that, please react to Bloodbath. Anything from their album "Nightmares Made Flesh" is amazing. This Necrophagia recording is very basic as most Death and Thrash Metal recordings of the time were. Lots of heavy albums the vocals were almost always high and clear in the mix. Only in the 2000's, for some stupid reason, for a while it was a thing to bury the vocals in the instrumentation so you could barely hear them. But it seems that's fading out and that's a good thing lol. Sooooooo......give Bloodbath a go! Love your channel :)
