Just a walk-through showing the scale of what can be achieved in X4: Foundations.

Quite the empire you have built for yourself. May I make a suggestion? Looking at your channel. It might be time to start a Play list section. Organizing each Gameplay into it's own folder in chronological order. Will make it easier for your followers to find, and watch their favorite games easier. Plus You Tube will play your videos in the Play list back to back.

How many millions of citizens are there these days? I don't think SC is as obscure as you are implying! That said, look at the difference in gameplay state between this and SC right now. It's pretty impressive what X4 has achieved.

@@sixtyfivewatts65 you can dock in all capital ships, and even some medium size ships with a fighter, you can dock a medium size ship in some capital ships, and you can fly all of them. It becomes really cool once you put them all to work, a shame that the AI kinda sucks in combat...

Probably worth a check for new players. I have a huge empire in X3 TC and i went back to this after a while. No way i am going to build it all again in X4.

It's been a good year since my last run. Devs said they furtherly inproved the AI. Do capital ships still suicidally get next to xenon stations to get shot by artillery while fighters still shoot at Its center of gravity rather than hitting sub targets? It was always feeling so bad to have a massive army and see that they incompetently kill themselves in mass against a single station without proper orders to tell them who does what...

I preemptively installed a mod that makes L/XL-class focus their main batteries on priority targets first before paying attention to the escort so I couldn't tell you. I do confirm that mod works though.

may I suggest one more mod ? something to deactivate the sound of money transfers... I haven't played in a while and my brain is not used to it anymore, so I kept hearing it only during the whole video lol

Welll .....Yeah .... waiting for VR support on this one. Once you get your feet wet with VR flight sims, it is hard to go back.

I love me some good VR too, but in the case of this particular game, I really don't mind the absence of VR. First, because it is a management game just as much as a space simulator, you will spend a lot of time in menus, and VR is not too great for that. Second, because the game can be slow at time, depending on what you put your head into, you might want to be able to literally do something else while the game is turning. This game however is the only one out there where you can start in a small ship and end up leading an entire fleet from the bridge and managing a trade or industrial empire, producing the very goods you throw at your enemy.

Had a look for one to mute only money transfer but no luck. Its either mute all notifications or ones I don't want to mute. Oh well.

@@Aniukha Go to the "Player Information" menu, then go to the "Global Standing Orders" section, scroll down to "Notifications", specifically the "Ticker notifications" section and uncheck the "Payment Received" and "Debit withdrawal" options.

I'm sure if you're willing to use someone else's save, you don't mind mods. Just use one of the buyable Astrid mods or the cheat menu mod to spawn one into your own save. Easy 😊
