100% agree with you on the padded thick tongues being a big source of overall comfort, the Lebron 18 would have been the most comfortable basketball shoe of all time if Nike didnt cheap out on the tongue.

They delayed the release of the shoes. (In my opinion) to release them around the same time with KD’s shoe to add more hype to the shoe prior to playoffs 🤷🏽‍♂️
