One of the RAREST 1971 Ford Mustangs Built - 429SCJ Super Cobra Jet Drag Pack Mach 1

Check out one of the rarest and most desirable 1971 Mustangs ever built. This 429SCJ is a 4 speed and has a Y Code 4.11 rear end. The matching number Mustang is finished in its original color of Raven Black with Black Interior. Restored here at NCC and done to Gold Concours Standards.

I happen to like the body style....looks exotic, especially with ram air and 429SCJ! I'll bet is was one of the fastest Mustangs of that era!

That's insane!!!...Nice job brother...I'm restoring a matching numbers 1969 GTO Judge right now .400ci,Muncie Rockcrusher four speed,10 bolt posi rear.. Hugger Orange with a white and black interior!!.Built at the Baltimore plant where my mother's father worked from 1953 to 1982.....so he surely helped build this car?....!!!😮

Wow, what a car...is the compression ratio the same in the '71 as the '69 and '70 SCJ? One minor point, the Ford 9 inch rear end did not come with the ratio of 4.11:1, it came with a 4.10:1.

4.10 was Chevy. All my Ford tests and original Muscleparts Supplements say it's 4.11 with SCJ.

No PS but has rim-blow wheel = unintended horn honking as you fight the rudder.
