I've always said that seulgi at 4:40 is the most gangsta lean back swag I've ever seen in Kpop. That one move made me love seulgi even more than I did. Red Velvet was already obligated to do a short tour of Japan in January of 2020, which they did without her. SM then released a statement saying that Red Velvet would be having no group promotions until she was completely healed. It was about 10 months later we finally saw her n the "Milky Way" video.

Psycho still sounds so good after 2 years! Psycho got 9 wins in music shows without the girls performing. In 1.1.2021 when we got to see ot5 performing psycho for the first time after everything that happened I cried so much. I’m so glad that Wendy is back! Their Japanese songs are also great # Cookie Jar and Sappy. (2.2.22 is their next Japanese comeback!) Thank you for reacting to Red Velvet 😊

Psycho is probably my favorite contemporary song, period - and I don't just mean Kpop. The vocal arrangement is an absolute delight, the chorus is catchy AF, and the opening is hella captivating. That's just the song: the video is a whole 'nother level: I love the homage to Hitchcock in the aesthetic; the ladies look stunning across the board; and the choreo makes me feel like the victim in a noir murder mystery - Dead On Arrival. BTW - check out the "Psycho" performance video, even if only on your own time: it's the same footage from MV, but only the full cam shots and without all the cuts and edits. I'm a Blink before anything else, but Seulgi is my ult and my only individual bias - even though I don't have a bias in Red Velvet (what? fandom isn't rational - I stand by what I said). Like Blackpink, they are all amazingly talented. When you said that Seulgi was your ult at the beginning, I knew you were gonna love this MV - she serves everytime she's on screen. And, you are not wrong about Wendy: her accident was only a few weeks after this video released, and just after it started to catch on. As for Irene's dancing, "Monster" and "Naughty" both came out while Wendy was recovering, and if "Psycho" didn't convince anyone, those two songs surely silenced any haters still breathing. It was the combination of those three songs that made me realize that Seulgi was my ult.

Appreciate the Red Velvet love, as always. Yeah. This song is pretty sentimental for me because of everything that happened. Always makes me happy seeing reactions in which this song has an affect on the viewer. I decided to check out some K-pop/stationary stores where I live for the first time recently and one of them actually had this album for some reason. Only one there. I snatched that thing up so fast. lol. There are so many things that I absolutely adore about this video. The double eyebrow raise that Irene does at the beginning of the song gives me life. She didn't have to do that. I want to say that Wendy's blonde hair is iconic. The green strip in Seulgi's wavy hair is *chef's kiss*. The fashion in Psycho is absurd. Personally, I'm a big fan of Seulgi's and Wendy's outfits during the first chorus. Wendy's hair pulled up like that was an attack. Seulgi's long sleeve lace top was enough, but they just HAD to give her lace gloves as well, didn't they? I actually think I liked hers the most. I'm a Wendy bias, but Seulgi keeps messing me up every time I see her. Ugh. I know a few of these have been mentioned already, but here are some R&B MV and B-Side suggestions along with some non-R&B options: MVs - Be Natural - Automatic (one of my personal top tiers) - One of These Nights (kind of a ballad/R&B mix - Honestly, it's a sad song, but the art of it is worth it.) B-Sides - Kingdom Come (100% a must, regardless if you film it. It's a rite of passage. lol) - Perfect 10 - Eyes Locked, Hands Locked - Time to Love - Candy - So Good (R&B mashup with some electronic drums - might sound weird, but the song is fire. Promise) Non-R&B MVs - Dumb Dumb - Russian Roulette - Red Flavor - I Just (Special Clip) - Look - Dance Practice (It's the CD audio played on top of the dance practice so the sound quality is normal.) - Sappy (This one is more of a personal favorites, atm. The vocals are fucking dumb, but the beat is kind of weird for some folks. Worth a shot, imo. It's a Japanese video. I'm not sure of the in's and out's of posting Japanese MVs, but there are plenty of reactions for it posted, so /shrug. Not trying to get you in trouble.) Non-R&B B-Sides, but so worth it: - Hello, Sunset (From the latest album. From what I understand the song is pretty much a thank you to the fans for supporting and waiting for Red Velvet.) - Butterflies - Time Slip - Hit That Drum (It's known for one of Wendy's most iconic displays of skill. Don't want to spoil it. lol) - Sunny Side Up - La Rouge - Cool Hot Sweet Love - Oh Boy - Little Little That should be enough for now. lol Here's a bonus. I am so glad that you reacted to this FINALLY, Psycho should've won at least something especially what happened with Wendy like WOW this whole Music Video was PHENOMENAL I love this MV with all my heart it was my first comeback and I loved every part of it and it everyone killed this era! Be aware the MV version of this song sounds different from the ones that were on spotify and stuff... the MV version is significantly altered for the better. I highly suggest you listen to psycho MV version with audiophile type of headphones because you will pick up on so many little sound details that make this song the GOAT

I know you already love them but if tou hadn't this song is the one to make anyone fall in love with Red Velvet! That was gonna be a big year for them sadly Wendy was badly injured in a stage accident and had to take a long time to recover 😞 but at least we got Irene and Seulgi duo. Seulgi outfits in this mv are so great she's my bias anyway but if not she'd be wrecking me. I love the styling in this mv and blonde Wendy looks great. They have live version of this just sitting in front of a few fans and omg its so good!!!!! And the choreo for this is soooo great they have a performance mv version if you wanna see it all.

Psycho is great, but I think for me it's so great because this was their peak before Wendy's accident - the song is great, but it's not actually one of my top Red Velvet songs, personally - but there is a progression in certain elements that leveled up with this MV in particular. Just listening to it - I like it, but I also recently found out there's a difference in the streaming version over the video version so that could be part of it - but anyway. (Oh btw - I agree, Seulgi stood OUT in Girls on Top for SURE. Vocal line, dance line, in the opening duo... yeah.) But seriously Psycho is an incredible song - it not being my favorite is just because of the strength of their entire discography. Like - it's a gem among gems. When Seulgi kills me it's because she gets the head tilted back looking down vibe there - so cool. And yes Wendy and Seulgi in those ad-libs - you've got their voices down already here in your journey. There's a reason Joy was using the nickname cutie-sexy hahaha she can switch the look and the vibe in a moment. You should be sure you haven't missed them singing this live at the ReVe Festival meetup thingie whatever that was - lots of gorgeous live vocal performances at that event.
