Every now and again, you can find 1 that the butters normally pull off to the side for themselves because it's cut in between the bones and is missing the center divider bone. Had a butcher friend used to hook me up with Porterhouse special cuts. More meat and less weight and price missing that divider.

I love those three pack thick ribeyes from COSTCO! I do 50 minutes at 225 degrees in the oven and 2:30 high heat pan fry each side in wagu beef tallow. Rest for four minutes. Smear Kerry Gold butter and MOLDON sea salt flakes and...WOW! I'll have to try worst chester sauce tip

I used to have a boxer that was very lg, over 80 lbs. His name was "Meathouse." He passed away at a ripe old age and is buried underneath the trees on our 20 acres in N. MS. He is still missed every day. He was so sweet.

Yesterday the local Safeway had a digital coupon available for t-bone at 6.59 lb; regular was 12:98, on sale was 8.98, then there was the digital coupon. The cut varied and you had to pick through them to get a proper porter house cut.

I discovered the Porterhouse in the '70s, when my grandmother got them from her local butcher shop. It's my favorite cut, when I can get a good price on it. Whether I cook it in a pan, the oven, a grill, or "caveman style", it's always great. I try to eat less these days, so I'll typically cut most of both sides off at first, leaving my first meal the meat on the bone. Then I have a couple of meals later with the leftovers. I haven't tried dipping steak in Worcestershire sauce. I mostly just use salt and pepper on any good quality steak. For the cheap diner stuff, I'll break out the steak sauce. I'll have to give that a try next time I have steak, assuming I remember.

I once had a expensive stainless steel large round and about 4-5 inch side. I of course pre heated the thing but this was at work thankfully and I worked in a kitchen and I was doing other things while my pan heated. I remembered about my pre heating pan so I put some oil in it so I can start cooking whatever it was I forgot. The oil hit the pan and instantly flames where hitting the ceiling. You want a hot pan but don’t forget oil has a flashpoint that will ignite it instantly. It’s easy to take care of the fire. First don’t panic, turn off the heat and cover the pan with whatever is metal or non flammable. I had a large sheet pan. Anyway my pan was ruined and I was pissed.

I find that T-Bones are essentially a waste of money (since just like your situation, they are both priced is the same). You buy a steak with a lot of bone, and a tiny tenderloin. You are better off just buying a bone in NY prob for 20%-30% cheaper. That said, both those Publix steaks you have look pretty sad (the Sam's Club looked ok)... they are both less than 1" thick. ☹ Also, the steaks you cooked are not the Publix steaks... you should inform the viewers that.
