I hope you enjoy making these videos as much as I do watching them. It must take a lot of extra work and time to set the cameras up. I do some trapping also but mostly beavers. My wife just said to me that video is better than any thing on TV, it is relaxing just listening to it.

Hi Norm, While it’s hard to tell on the video from actual being there, I do not think that is a lynx track as they have a lot of fur on the bottom of their feet. This prevents the track from having that level of toe/pad detail. The end looks like a big male fisher track running away. Perhaps this is your magnum Martens’s track as well? Hey Norm, Good news...Maine got snow...my home had 11" of that fluffy stuff with higher winds than expected...Stay safe and my husband had a deer jump in front of 21 yr old Izusu Rhodeo☹️☹️☹️yup. State guy said we could keep it but too much ground glass in the body...it will go to a trapper over in Sandford Maine for his bait...he drags a deer hind-quarter behind his sled for scent in his trapping area. Great to see you out again for another season norm. I remember in the early days of youtube with that old polaris, you wouldn't travel during blows or white out conditions. I recommended you get a GPS and mount it than you go can go home anytime. Come a long way.

Been on the side a few times. Check your air box. When sled goes on its side the engine oil can go into the air box, leaving engine low on oil. Thanks for bringing us along the trail.

Happy New Year!! Winter weather has finally arrived in my part of Northern Manitoba too, along with the freezing temperatures. On the bright side, though, not a mosquito or blackfly around. If the hitches are the same width, why not swap them around, and keep using the bigger sleigh? Just a thought. Good luck with the trapping season this year, the pelts can only get better with this cold weather.

Hi Norm nice video I also pin the hind legs by the tail . A furgrader suggested that method to me as that way it brunches the thick fur up onto the back making it for a better grade. Makes sense to me when he said it and I also like the look of it better . Thanks for sharing
