Oh Lucy hearing you stress over the 7 cosy winter outfits video after having watched it it's so weird! It was deffinately a breath of fresh air and something quite exciting! To be honest I feel like this type of format would really suit you because you always chose the best beats, you so good at editing and have a cool style in general. Do what excites you and what's challenging after all I think that's what makes videos worth filming.

You’re one of the only youtubers that I’ve continuously watched from day one. I love how you’ve evolved and how your content has changed because it seems, from an outside perspective, that you’re happier. I also love your chats about this whole internet culture bc it’s so interesting and you always have something insightful to say! Thanks for doing this Lucy! And I’m excited for what you do in the future even if KZbin isn’t at the forefront of that :)

I just wanted to say I think people who say they used to watch your videos mostly mean they used to watch KZbin and probably don't any more, therefore haven't seen your videos in ages! Most of my friends who were into KZbin back in 2016-ish literally spend no time on this platform any more. And for example, I never used to watch your videos but as I've gotten back into YT this past year or so, I discovered and love your channel! It's definitely hard not to let it affect you, I'm only a small YTer but my old videos would get 5k views (more views than my sub count) and now I barely push 1k, it can feel a bit rubbish but idk I'm sort of rambling, just trying to say that all YTers feel this way at some point and it's mostly because audiences grow older and away from the platform, and then it can be hard to grab a new audience given how the algorithm works etc etc YOU'RE DOING GREAT BASICALLY

I found your channel back when I was in high school when you covered 'all we do' with Dodie. Now I'm in my 4th year of uni and you are one of the few people I have consistently watched on youtube. I find your videos so calming and without any unnecessary hype, which is something I have always loved. Thank you for always making such well-made content, I love seeing a new vid of yours pop up! Keep just making authentic things that you love ❤✨

it must be so hard to have a job that’s so inherently focused on relatability and those things that are out of your control, and I guess it makes you concious and critical of all the numbers that surround your channel - the views, subscibers, comments... I understand that it’s hard to not analyse this, and I wish I could make it that you’re always satisfied and receiving the best figures you can, but just know that, besides the fact you do have an immense following and love backing your channel always, myself and from what i always see so many others find such a deep relatability, intrigue, respect and support for your channel, and clicking on your videos I am always so grateful for your content in whatever form because it has always come from the same place - your individuality and qualities as a person. thank you lucy, you’re the coolest and u deserve all the happiness xxz

I love how cosy and real your channel is. You don’t sugarcoat how you feel mentally and physically, because so many KZbinrs present their lives to be perfect and stress-free, and it makes their audience not feel content with their own lives. Your channel is a good reminder that everyone is human.☁️ P.S - the editing is so good as well😂❤️

trying to think of something deep or meaningful but... nah. You're great. The editing of these videos is immense. Always love watching these! I do wonder, how do you manage to stay on task, focused when a large part of the the work you do is dependent on a computer, and having your phone around? I can't manage it, always end up clicking through to a random article or youtube or messaging friends or something of that sort

love love love the relatability of this video. it was wonderful to see you go through the ups and downs of each day and discuss how you’ve been feeling lately. if i’m honest i’ve had very similar thoughts so it’s nice to see similarities in the media that i consume and to have a normalised conversation about how some days are better or worse than others. i feel like often social media is a highlight reel of people’s lives unless they make videos dedicated to talking about mental health (which isn’t necessarily bad but casual videos about having off days here and there can feel more realistic and easier to process/consume). anyway ramble over, i appreciate your content!!

I love your channel Lucy, it’s one I can say I’ve consistently watched for years. I can see how you’ve gone through periods where it’s been easier and times when it’s harder. I think because your job involves documenting your life you have a record of those low times and high times. Just want you to know that I see and hear you and relate to a lot of what you're dealing with right now. I was on spironolactone for my acne and since I dont have high blood pressure it did make me light-headed when I stood up, but that was my only real side effect. It definitely helped my acne. I'm also trying to change birth controls (started my new one yesterday) because my current one has literally killed my sex drive (it's really strange) and has caused my weight to be really unpredictable... plus my periods have only gotten more painful. Also trying to cope with anxiety especially around work and what the heck I'm doing with my life as a 23-year-old (which is dumb I have so much time but also do I?!). Anyway, just wanted to say that from where I stand you seem to be doing the best you can and thats more than enough. You're a kind-hearted person and you will figure it out. I could definitely see you enjoying a part time gig at some sort of creative content or marketing firm! Wish you the best :)

I love coming back and watching your 168 hours again - whether more actively or to keep in the background! Sometimes they come at the perfect time - I related to some things you said in this video, and appreciate the authenticity of having a lot going on in your head and thinking about all these big things (we don’t always see that on social media but it’s way more of a common experience than we see I think)!! You inspire me so much creatively :) today this made me really question what my fears/blocks are in moving into a career or path that’s more creative and what I need to think about to actually move in that direction and not sit still!

Do you think it might be alcohol that could be a cause of feeling really low and down? I found when I was drinking more than say, once a week, I was at my worst - and couldn’t explain why. Alcohol is a depressant, and I know that’s one of my triggers. I did see that you were drinking a bit more in this video, maybe that could be a cause as well as your pill or something? Alcohol is the WORST for my IBS too, I know if I drink I’ll be on the toilet for a good hour the next morning... Please take this comment with a pinch of salt, I’m only speaking from my own experience! Loved the outfit video you did by the way I can’t wait to see more like it! 🌹😍

Hey Lucy! I was on spirilactone (can’t spell) a couple years ago. It definitely did the job on my acne, but it caused me the worst depression of my life. I was in such a dark place. Lucy, I really think it might be your pill what's making you feel bad. I really recommend you look into FAM (fertility awareness methods) as an alternative to hormonal birth control. I was feeling crap and not like myself two years ago (after 5 years on the pill) despite my health being ok. Hormonal birth control does have several side effects that affect everyone different and low libido and menthal health struggles are amongst the most common. The problem is they're not really discussed with us the users. I have been watching your videos for a couple of years, and never felt the urge to leave comment before but now I feel like I can really relate to what you are going through (at least from the little bit you share with us in your videos :) ). Please take a look at FemmeHead channel on KZbin. She explains this alternative form of birth control in a way that makes sense and is reliable. Us women have a cycle naturally and that has a lot to do with our emotions (hormones play a big role in that), and whilst being on the pill we are taken that away from us (specially the good part, which is the happiness and boost of energy and self confidence that comes with ovulation!). Anyways, sorry for the long post but I really want to let you know there is options for us young women out there :) I have been off the pill for two years now, have avoided pregnancy succesfully and my mental health is better that ever before since I started charting my cycle and using FAM. I hope this helps and I'm available to talk more if you want but you can also find loads of info online. Hugs from Chile!
