One OK Rock made the collab with Koie of Crossfaith, MAH of SiM and Masato Hayakawa of Coldrain. They are apparently quite close - even attending each others' weddings as best men (not Taka's wedding, though, as he's not married). Masato also helped produce OOR's new single Renegades alongside the band and Ed Sheeran. One Ok Rock is absolutely more in the soft, melodious rock category, but as you mention, they easily jump genres when it suits them. The video is of course mixed with other performances to avoid the dreaded blocking, but watching the full performance on their concert dvd it's quite clear they have a lot of fun together. XD The song was released on the 3-song album Skyfall, which was supposedly only sold on-site during their Japan Tour that year.

This is a collab of 4 Japanese bands namely, Crossfaith, SiM, Coldrain and of course OOR. Masato, Kenta and Mah, the vocalists of Coldrain, Crossfaith and SiM respectively are the one who is screaming in that perf. This was really a bad ass performance in that concert. It was also a balanced one. You can hear heavy screaming of Masato, Kenta and Mah in verses and you will hear a calm and cool vocals of Taka in the chorus. And if you are wondering if the video and the audio is not in sync, probably the uploader mix the video of this perf. to avoid copyright. Mostly, OOR live perf. in YT are like that. Japan is really strict if its about copyright. Anyway, if you wanna hear TAKA screaming. I think you should react to live perf. of ONE BY ONE in Saitama super arena, ENDING STORY live in Yokohama stadium and JUVENILE still in Yokohama.

If you want to hear Taka scream check out their older songs. My recommendation: One by One, Ending Story, No Scared, Liar, Deeper Deeper. Of course you have to watch the live versions. OOR is a band that sounds way better live then in their music videos.

Oh Taka can scream alright xd but as mentionet already, Kenta, Masato and MAH are the one screaming here. Taka has very beautiful voice and can go very soft and emotional and I think he makes a perfect balans here. OOR doesn’t often go hard but they do ocasionally, I recomend you check out One by One, Take me to the top, Ending Story, No Scared, Liar 😁 also Toru really can scream as you heard in Cry out 😁
