You should check out their live performance especially at Yokohama Stadium, every performance is just fantastic You may also look for the sub version to know the meaning of their speech and the japanese part of the song , their lyrics are really good and meaningful ONE OK ROCK live performance is really good, even better than the cd version you will be totally love them more! great reaction!!!!

Love your reactions to OOR. I like that you really listen to the song and not talk too much throughout the song ^^ You missed their 3rd or 4th tour in USA last year (Ambitions tour); they've done Europe and Asia tours about 4 times already. My guess for why they are not more famous... well, if their live performances are aired on TV, they'll reach a wider audience. However, they started out in US a few years ago by touring rock festivals in US, which is a pretty slow method cos only very small groups of people are exposed to their music.

Wherever You are is composed by Taka (song+lyrics, I believe); OOR composed their own songs in their earlier albums and in the later ones, collaborated with other songwriters. As another YT reviewer and OOR fan once said, there are various versions of the same song - the MV version, live version, studio jam version etc, and even the live versions of different concerts have slight variations in the song/music/performance. May I ask that you also check out this live of Wherever You Are (Yokohama Arena 2013 version, with Eng subs), because this has been said to be the best live version of the song. A couple of years back, they opened for a rock festival near me at the time (Jax FL). I was sooooo frustrated because I had to work that day! Taka even sang "Summer Paradise" with the vocalist from Simple Plan. You should check it out if you have time. ^^ Wonderful reaction, as always! Keep up the good work!

One Ok Rock plays regularly in the USA, and they are starting to become better know. Welcome to the world of J-Rock, there are so many awesome Japanese bands, they've take some of the western genres, mixed in some Japanese music influence (chord progressions and melodies) and made some really fresh new music IMO --- the Japanese did for Music what they did for rice & fish (ie.turned it into sushi.) You're not going to go wrong listening to One Ok Rock, and when you finish with their videos you can review Japanese groups like: BABYMETAL (Kawaii metal -- live concert videos are best) Wagakki Band (rock played on a mixture of western and Japanese Traditional instruments - great live and videos) Kalafina (3 awesome female vocals with a great backing band -- anime style music, progressive rock/folk - Live concerts best) Hello Sleepwalkers (punk? -- mostl all MVs) Doll$Boxx (female rock/light metal - MVs) LadyBaby (just have to see to believe - MVs) Brats (one of the girls from LadyBaby has their own teen band -MVs )
