Kuuku Dadzie is arguably the best central defender in Ghana's football history. It's a great delight listening to the legend. Good show, DKY!!!

Thank you for the memories Kuuku Dadzie. You are a legend. One of the best from the west which includes PSK Paha and brothers, Eshun, John Yawson, Bannerman, Abbrey etc. The West rocks yes. They deserve a National Football Academy.

I saw Isaac Aquaye play in his twilight at Dawu Youngsters. I thought he was the best I have ever seen of all the 🇬🇭 defenders I've seen. And for people to place Kuuku Dadzie ahead of him, then Kuuku must be like Beckenbauer or Moore 😊.

You said it all. There was no central Defender like Kuuku. You can compare his skills to that of Beckenbauer, Bobby Moore and Klaus Augenthaler

Brilliant Player this guy and I agree we had some serious defenders then, Tony Micah, Justice More of Eleven wise, Ahmed Rockson SS74 and Kotoko, Awuley Quaye was good but a bit erratic Paha was great, I saw them all play it was amazing , I have tears in my eyes when I used to watch them at Gyandu Park. Those were the days.

Thank u for the interview, Without the mention of DOGO MORO & ADDO ODAMETEY B4 Kuukuu DADZIE, then the GHANAS past about best defenders is incomplete. While KUUKUU surfaced mid 70s , Ghana produced the best defenders between the 50's through the 60's. Chris Briandt later became Coach and helped HASAACAS with the likes of AGGREY FYNN which held The visiting German Team , FORTUNAS DUSSELDORF to a 3 all draw at the Sekondi Gyandu Park in 1958. The next best was Dogo Moro ,then surfaced ADDO ODAMETEY , the most skillful defender then the Captain of OOC / REPUBLICANS who played his role to the best during his tenure. KUUKUU DADZIE replaced these legends in the 70s with a special introduction of defeñsive and attacking surportive engagement, . The best of his style was the Introduction of the popular OFF SIDE TRAP.. Having accused these guys for bribery, KUUKUU DADZIE rejoined his mother Club HASAACAS. LEGEND KUUKUU DADZIE showed his Class as the best defensive Organiser, ended up to team up with HASAACAS once more against KOTOKO in KUMASI , with The Legends defensive organization strategies led HASAACAS TO DISGRACEFULLY BEAT KOTOKO AT HOME ( KUMASI) 2-0. WHY IS KUUKUU DADZIE NOT CONSIDERED A MEMBER OF THE PRESENT GHANA BLACK STAR SQUAD?. SURE TRIBAL POLITICS HAS INVADED THE GHANAS FOOTBALL DEVELOPEMENT PROGRAMS.. WHY HAS THE GFA NONE SPORTS ADMINISTRATIVE TRAINED FORGOTTEN ABOUT " KUUKUU DADZIE" A VETERAN AND AN EXPERIENCE COACH.??

Such a great legend of our nation and African football. His son was my senior at Chapel Hill School in T’di, he called into the program during an interview with a former player living in the US. I remember his time as a coach in Hasacas. I believe he was in the Hasacas team with the Paha brothers, Emmmanuel Quarshie, Joe Carr etc. Such a great player, a good coach and a gentleman.

My cousin who played for Tema Youth tells me Kuuku Dadzie is the best coach he played under in Ghana. Kuuku was there with Coach 'Opeele'. He tells me whilst 'Opeele' was the loud one making all the headlines, it was Kuuku who was actually the one coaching them.

His only problem was the drinking especially, with Joe Sam. He was not very big for a defender but you could not beat him in the air nor drive past him. He would command over $100 million if he were playing today.

Somebody mentioned Addo Damptey, and Joe Dakota, Kuuku was better than all of them. The only defender who came close to him was Tetteh Guoleku (might have spelt the name wrongly). He used to play for Corners and Black Stars at the #4 position. He came to the USA before I did in 1980.
