Mr Opoku Nti is very honest in Ghana football analysis of his generation. The most factual and accurate historical football accounts partly given by Mr Opoku Nti. As a young man I watched him play in most matches. In his playing days He meant business and was prolific and stylish on the field. From 1977 to 1983 was one of the golden era production of prolific of footballers in Ghana. Thos explains why black stars won 2 AFCNS within this period with 1982 one in style after the shortest preparation time before the tournament. Today we have football players but not footballers in Ghana. As Accra Hearts of Supporter I used to dread Opoku Nti. Black Star vs Zambia 1988, Accra stadium, for a strange reason he came in the second half to perform amazingly. The Zambia Manager after the match even commented highly on Opoku Nti's second half performance on that day and wondered why he was not started. Opoku ZICO , salute and respect for your continuous dedication and support for Ghana football industry.

Yeah that 3-0 was played on July 9th 1980. Papa Arko, Kofi Badu and Francis Kumi scored the goals. That day I cut school from St. John's Grammar and went to watch the game. It was on a Wednesday.

THAT IS OPOKU NTI FORMERLY OF TARKWA GOLD STARS . HE HAD HIS FIRST CALL UP TO THE NATIONAL TEAM AS A PLAYER OF TARKWA GOLD STARS . WHEN KOTOKO REJECTED HIM IT WAS TARKWA GOLD STARS THROUGH COACH ASANTE WHICH HELPED HIM TO LAUNCH HIS CAREER . EVERYBODY AT TARKWA LOVED OPOKU BECAUSE HE PLAYED FOR TARKWA SECONDARY SCHOOL AND TARKWA GOLD STARS . I AM VERY HAPPY HE MENTIONED TARSCO , COACH ASANTE AND MANAGER TWUM ANTWI . OPOKU IS STILL LOVED BY PEOPLE OF TARKWA AND TARSCO . I WOULD BE HAPPY IF HE WOULD ONE DAY VISIT THE AKOON PARK WHERE HE WAS GIVEN THE NAME TARKWA POLO . MY WORRY IS THAT OPOKU IS ALWAYS ASSOCIATED ONLY WITH KOTOKO . PLEASE THE NEXT TIME YOU MENTION THE NAME OF OPOKU NTI , MENTION TARKWA GOLD STARS. WE OF TARKWA AND TARSCO SHALL NEVER FORGET OPOKU NTI BECAUSE HE IS THE GREATEST FOOTBALLER TO HAVE ASSOCIATED WITH THE TOWN AND SCHOOL . MAY GOD BLESS YOU , OPOKU NTI FORMERLY OF TARKWA GOLD STARS .

I thought u would ask him whether it was true that he slapped Oddom after losing to hearts 3:4. Hearts scored 3;0 n within a short time he scored 3 goals to equalize. Then hearts added 1. What we were told he slapped Odoom the goalkeeper. Was it true
