I hope they realize that with Tere bin they have potentially tapped into a different set of global audience (apart from the 'suffering woman who wants to see another suffering woman on TV so she can relate' as he put it). The phenomenal success of the first half of Tere bin indicates that many women would want the men in their life to try and understand them, and give them some margin to resolve their issues. Perhaps it's fantasy, given the dire circumstances of women in Pakistan, yet the views alone tells you what your audience actually wants.

Here’s the problem I have with Mr. Kadwani, no we as a audience never said that murastim is an angel. When u show a person with positive traits how can he then become toxic? The characters other than Haya were all jaded and made no sense. True drama depicts life but tere bin didn’t have that element. Mr. Kadwani my question is to you, what were you trying convey to the society by showing a girl gets her husband to sign a contract?! Or the fact that she spits on him and then he decides to r*** her. If that was the case then the beginning of the drama it should’ve portrayed him that way. I’m sorry but there was no clear answer from him. He knows he messed up, clearly it shows on the sons face.

Most of the time, certain viewers don't see the Evil character but see the Handsome Actor playing the character and want the actor to be happy. They just can't differentiate between the Actor and Character which is frustrating. Pretty sure, if Meer Hadi was played by some average looking Actor, the same audience would demand him to die alone asap.
