I met Mike D along time ago when i was getting released from the County Jail . I had a chance to chop it up with him and he even gave me a ride home in that bubble eyed blue Benz on blades he had ( his girl came and got him in his car and he gave me a ride ) He also put me on the list to get in the concert he did the next day with Fat Pat ( Great performance by the way ) MOB . Mike D a real one and my only regret was not letting him know I was a beast on the freestyle and pen . I was in awe and was able to vibe with a person i admired .I still do . RESPECT ! Maybe I’ll meet him again and hopefully I’ll be able to be a part of what makes Houstons music scene what it is . Funny thing i met Yungstar too when i was with Lil Will when they had an outdoor stage for a performance for ShowTyme . Lil Troy was there as well ad Big T and we spotted Yung in the crowd . Troy paid ShowTyme to use the stage so they could get video footage of them performing Wanna Be A Baller so he could add Yungstar to the video . If you remember Yungstar wasn’t on it . There is s video of all of the rappers that was on that particular song .I might be to old to be a star now (45) but i know I have that fire when it comes to music . Always have and the South side streets know it .

I love Yungstar and I believe Den Den prolly did what most CEOs do but I also know that Yungstar didnt have no solo songs on his solo album so Den was prolly right about Yungstar's work ethic back then too. Much love to both of them tho. I wish everybody would just do square biz in this game and everybody eat and take care of their families.

Man that’s so true what he saying about Troy taking the credit for Yung!! Hell I thought the same thing until I got to where I listened to Wanna Be a Baller so much I could tell it was YungStar off of June 27th…. It took me a few months before I started telling people that the hardest verses on that song was a dude nobody really had heard in the mainstream before. Yung a real one for sure!! Great Podcast
