My father has Dementia. 95% of the time, he has absolutely no idea that anything at all is wrong with him. If you ask him, much like George was trying to ask Joe, he will tell you that he's never been better. He truly does believe that. Ignorance is bliss, as they say. The worst days, the days that break my heart, are the days he is actually clear-headed, and he is painfully aware that something is very wrong. Joe is in denial. We clearly just saw that. Donald Trumps father died from Alzheimers, and Trumps mother had dementia when she died. There are numerous of clips of Donald Trump showing clear signs of real dementia. He confused Nancy Pelosi with Nikki Haley when he accused Nikki Haley of not providing enough security on the capital on January 6th. There are clips where he is not aware of which city he is in, and there are clips where he still believe Obama is the president. But somehow Trump gets away with this, while people are constantly picking on Biden. If something bad happens to president Biden he has got a very able and young Vice President to assume office, so the country is not in any danger with Biden. I lost two grandparents to dementia and Alzheimer's disease respectively, and Biden and his mannerisms, body posture, speech patterns etc all remind me of them both during the later stage of their diseases progression, just before they began to fully lose the ability to recognise my parents, my brother and myself. Its sad to watch this happen in real time, and terrifying its the man with the most powerful military and nuclear arsenal in the world, which a lot of other nations and populations rely on to maintain stability.
