When I first saw this scene when it came out it made me realise that One-one was actually damaged and suffering from a literal split personality. Plus One-one pretty much represents the idea of left and right hemispheres of the brain left-brained).

Albeit the ejection process was suggested by Amelia, One still gave an OK for her to use trainwide technology to remove cars entirely. Not only this car, but every other car that had turtle denizens or corrupted code, including the corgi car

I love how Tulip tries to reassure One-One. Even though it is later revealed that the car is the way it is partly because he could have been better. Like One could have been better, the train and its conductor could have made the train better. Provide passengers better guidance to have them progress towards their exit, at least provide an explanation to the purpose of the train. Not anticipating that he was about to be usurped by Amelia, who was fed up with him and the train's functioning. Amelia rose as Conductor because of One, he's ultimately responsible for this broken car existing.
