Once you git gud with tank commander and get his upgrades, it’s so much fun to play as him…can you can just assasinate enemies one after another with about 2-3 shots per one and it’s so satisfying

Scuba may have splash but just like tank commander for him to be good you need to hit direct hits. If you hit both direct hits his dmg output and skill ceiling are just as high if not higher

I've played both of these guys extensively so here are my thoughts (paragraph warning). Both these characters can be equally as cracked when played correctly, however, I do think Tank Commander is the better pick purely because I feel like the damage racks up far faster than Scuba's primarily because of the double reload upgrade he has. In terms of fun, Tank Commander is also much more fun in my experience because landing those direct hits and shredding enemies up close is incredibly satisfying (or because I'm reminded of hitting directs with plasma pea's fully charged shots). Scuba, like stated in this video is much easier to play, especially when you have no energy to actually try playing skillfully, but thats also my problem with him: he's only really fun when you can't be asked to play skillfully, which for me personally doesn't happen very often (ignore the fact I suck at the game for a moment please). Scuba also feels a lot slower for me, and while both have potential to be equally as deadly, Tank is much faster than Scuba and thats really where the preference is divided: speed or ease of use. Can't wait to see the next episode

Scuba could be faster than Tank for a bit when shooting once and quickly pressing your rocket jump/leap and shooting again. Tho it takes a bit of skill to master and to utilize in the moment

Scuba is really fun to play imo, and while it doesn't go into play much his sonar ability has helped me get the jump on people trying to run away or flank me more often than not. Also its just satisfying to two tap that annoying pogo pea once in a while

listen i love tank commander, i have fond memories of playing as him in GW1 and getting hyped from seeing that damage, but he got nerfed badly and he usually never lives since he needs to get up close to his enemies to deal some real damage, he's kinda like yeti chomper skill doesn't really exist, its just an another artificial stat

I don’t think that Tank commander is necessarily more rewarding than Scuba even if you play him to his max potential. Scuba has better kill times across all health pools with the exception of 125, so tank commander having better direct hit damage isn’t really more beneficial for any health pool besides 125. Tank commander even has worse kill times against 135 health pool characters (so basically just 125 with health upgrade). I guess it’s just a case of playstyle preference.

Long time since I've played pvzgw2, but I do remember liking more Scuba because of the tag.

Worth mentioning is that Scuba is best played at mid-range and by abusing the sonar, while Tank is better at shredding people up close. Granted, shooting feet and relying on your opponent having poor aim is an undeniably effective strategy for both, so small wonder most people view them as the same character.

also I noitesed the zombies have fish/water characters like pluber,scuba,shrimp,captain sharkbite,the one scientist and the one hovergoat costum.most of them get splash damage for weaker primary but not all

wow seeing the status now looks like scuba soldier is way worse than tank but in gameplay with his two shoots you can't really see the difference between damage from DPS but what makes me crazy is when you shoot direcly with tank and it deals 5-15 damage

scuba soilder: needs to hit splash at all times or else UE sucks, and his shots are way to slow, and he relys on splash so pogos are his counter. tank commander: tank he is very skilled and his shots are faster than scuba so its better at range and he is more rewarding on direct hits.

Personally, i love tank over scuba, idk, i find him enjoyable and satisfying getting kills with him, dont get me wrong, they both are probably on the same level of performance in my opinion, but Tank is more enjoyable. But heres the thing, i dont play tank alot because the plant team is unpredictable, if there is 2 to hella alot of chompers ik for a fact i gotta switch to another soldier or mechanic at best and not enjoy tank for a hot minute, ik how to deal with corns, peashooters could be a threat or not but to the hell with EP's and Law pea's g4y a$$ players, citrons literally poossy out on their ball when i try to kill them all the time cause why not, rose could be a threat or not, i find satisfying killing the BBQ tree man *ROOOOOAAAAAAA* Sunflower mmm idk bout her, but cactus is a number one threat to me but i dont see her often unlike chompers' g4y a$$ players.
