The idea of ​​the Robin leader is good, but having to sacrifice her own hand to ramp up the dons ends up being a big flaw. She loses to most aggressive decks in the game. You will need a lot of knockout events and blockers to be able to control the board when you have the chance to play Yamato. If your life is already at 1 you probably won't be able to knock out any of your opponent's characters.

Agreed. When I play her I ramp the first time I attack, or if I have a comfortable enough hand a second time later on. Having 3c Brûlée and 3c Saul (Play from trigger blockers, that can also be played from hand via 6c Nico Robin's trigger) helps A TON. And padding the deck with 4 Soul Pocus usually throws people off especially if I play from Trigger. The version I play gets most of its offensive+defensive setup from triggers to fill up the board or draw 2k counters until I can whip out 7c rush Sanji, or 10c Ace.

Man this was a terrible display of Robin. No wonder everyone thinks she is bad. Ace is the wrkng choice for this deck as you always need to keep 1 don up for gum gum giant. If he did have that he could have survived a zoro attack.
