Saturn's counterattacking Luffy seamlessly after getting thrown like a frisbee after being tossed like pizza dough makes me think that Saturn and possibly the rest of the Gorosei have faced Nika/Joyboy in battle in the past and thus aren't phased by it like Kaido was.

Or maybe he's just getting caught up in his pace. We have yet to see Saturn's character quirk, so that makes me think this might be part of it. He easily gets caught up in people's pace. Thats why he humored Vegapunk's conversation while the others escaped. That's why he had a full blow conversation with Vegapunk while he was in the process of being punched. Why he humored Catarina with a conversation. Why he complimented Franky. And why he gave a big dramatic speech to Bonney, explaining literally every dirty detail of her and her parents lives. He's getting caught up in the pace of the people he's talking to. Returning Vegapunk's curiosity with curiosity, and Bonney's hatred with hatred, and Franky's big bro energy with big bro energy. We see now that it's a weakness and a strength. The reason he's "lost his humanity" while fighting Luffy may be that he needed to disconnect the voice feed to his summoned meat puppet. Otherwise we'd hear him laughing.

i had the thought that the "dead" vegapunks aren't dead, but instead could be "uploaded" to punk records, and are actually streaming this live, talking from within a virtual world simulation thingymajig. remember some of the themes of the arc were about what it means to be "real" like luffy's interaction with the holograms, memories, death, the weight of memories and the soul...etc. if vegapunk was studying the soul then he must have figured out how to "separate" his soul/personality into the other satellites, and the three of them have cheated death by remaining "alive" within punk records. so there may truly be something to this tiny detail 👀

I have a feeling that the gorosei is going to succeed in terminating the broadcast of the visual den den mushis. Resulting in those that brought out the screen to not be able to receive the message. But the people of Fusha, who didn't own one, will get to hear the audio version. As well as other nations and individuals who only use the audio ones. Since that message will get broadcasted, unknown to the gorosei, who initially think they managed to advert knowledge from coming out entirely; They will be unaware (until they are informed otherwise by their subordinates that is) there are people who did hear it and those folks are going to spread it to those who's initial interest had already been peeked by the announcement in last chapter. Spreading whatever does come out like a poorly contained virus over the world until what was said during the broadcast becomes common knowledge everywhere. (In other words, I just really wanna see Vegapunk outsmart those geezers)

The theory that the Gorosei are the perfected ancient kingdom technology of Vegapunk's Satellites and Imu is their Stella really got a boost this chapter. The five can remotely communicate with one another and see through each other's eyes something the satellites couldn't, but merely emulate with Eggheads video network and earpieces. The Gorosei can also teleport to one another when summoned a technology that Vegapunk was working on, but not yet perfected at the start of the arc. Also even the fact that they all have different Devil Fruits is a step up from Vegapunk as he and all the satellites share the same one. Honestly the only thing Vegapunk has over them is that he had created six satellites while Imu only has the five Gorosei, unless their was a sixth who betrayed them much like York did Vegapunk. Maybe an inorganic being such as a robot who when last awoken tried to rejoin his brethren in the Holy Land who happens to now currently be resting in secret on Egghead.

What I've seen lately is people comparing Luffy and Buggy to Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck, and I'm here for it. I'm also seeing some discourse online because the question a lot of people are bringing up is, if Saturn's summoning the other Gorosei, then what is the point of the God's Knights existing? They haven't done anything. Didn't stop Fisher Tiger, didn't stop the Revolutionaries, we were teased once for the punishment and execution of Donquixote Mjosgard, and now potentially the Gorosei themselves are getting their hands dirty on Egghead. Personally, I'm kind of hoping that it's not the Gorosei and it's actually Saturn's personal knights, but who knows? Luffy saying he can't hurt Saturn is making me wonder if this will be another Katakuri and Kaido moment where Luffy needs to upgrade his different forms of Haki to yet another level to be able to damage Saturn. Some people are worried about Luffy fighting all five of the Gorosei, but we've got giants and an iron behemoth coming as back up, so Luffy just needs to stall. I am enjoying that it's the Gorosei who are now on the clock for needing to get a mission done. Also, Lucci and Zoro are still fighting, so I wonder if we'll see anything come from that, especially given the broadcast.

Normal snails live about 3 years in the wild and large snails can live up to 10 years in the wild. If the people raised them as pets and valuable equipment then I could see the snails living 15-20 in the One Piece world given good diets, medical attention, and emotional support (love) from their owners.

I forgot what happened to Onigashima. It never landed on flower Capital and Momonosuke veered it away from Luffy's way so that Kaido can fall into the sea. If it landed on the ocean, would it not float instead of continuing to sink? The goal was to prevent it from reaching land, not to sink it. I imagined it would keep on levitating because Kaido never dropped it. I liked how Saturn used his swirly state to change direction and fly toward Luffy like a boomerang.

Its so crazy to think that next chapter we could either learn almost everything, were at the point that multiyear theories could be proven or disproven in the span of chapters, real endgame stuff! Honestly i never liked when oda set a time limit as it feels like waiting for something that will happen not if it will happen like in hxh and every second is precious Kizaru seems to just like to sit back a lot. Feels like we'll see something with that pretty soon not having his heart in it.
