From my understanding Netflix wanted Log Town to Alabasta to be one season, but the Director and Oda refused. So Alabasta will be two seasons. I expect the second season to be Log Town to Drum Kingdom, prepping up Alabasta to be the next season. After that Jaya and Skypiea will be season four.

I finished my Masters in 2024. Towards the tailend of my degree, I decided to watch the Live Action version of One Piece. I knew most One Piece fans liked it so my thought process at the time was "If I enjoy the live action, I'll enjoy the anime too". I ended up liking the live action, got into the anime and now I'm all caught up and this is my all time favorite anime now. Plus, I hope you make a full recovery from your cancer.

Honestly this manga has really reopen my eyes during hard times. I've been lost for moments trying to find my place in the world. I felt like I lost my dream, and didn't feel human for the longest time (I sometimes don't). But this has help me open back up that I still have desires to see other people's dreams be accomplished or to help them through struggles. I long to be the person to have their back whenever something goes astray: the big brother, the listener, the friend who will never judge. Robin is someone I related a lot with, just a lot of mistrust from a number of people that I thought loved me. But I began to realize that I need to find those who care for me and help them strive. I found my goal in becoming a counselor. I hope to bring everyone their dreams out.

I'm not stuck in a hospital but in the middle of covid when my mental health was in a dangerously bad place I started this anime and honestly sometimes the only thing that keeps me going is needing to see where their story ends. One more week, one more month, one more year. I can hang on until I see the end. It feels like a ridiculous reason to cling to life? All for a show? A book? But hey, any reason is a good reason.

I do not know you, but I am really glad you are alright. I think for a lot of us One Piece is what gets us through the week. And I am glad that it helped you through your hard times, like it helped me through mine. I genuinely hope that, one day, be that when One Piece ends, or as a tribute to Oda in general, we as a community can all come together somewhere and sing Bink‘s sake in whatever language that someone may know that song in. If I had to describe the 2 things that impacted me most in my daily life it would be One Piece and Freakso songs (it‘s music in german, so not something everyone can listen to, but whenever I get into a bad headspace, I remember some lyrics from his songs and it almost always gets me back on track). Personally, Dr. Hiruruku‘s speech is what made me really fall in love with the story, which was over 10 years ago for me now. It made me live life differently. To this day, I try to help out and have fun with friends, family and even people I do not know too much, so that when I die, perhaps someone will remember me and a thing I did for them that made their life more fun. Nowadays my favorite character is Brook, cause I had been dealing with suicidal thoughts for a long while and his story is what kind of got me through it. Because, even if there is absolutely nothing good, for a year, for 2 years and even for 50 years, something might change. Someday, maybe someone or something will find that ghost ship and change the path in life you currently have. The only thing one can do is try to steer that boat, no matter how broken it is, out of that foggy see, perhaps going in cicrles over and over. I respect that character so much, and he has had such massive impacts on my life. The joy that this 90 year old skeleton has and brings to others, even though everything in his life for the past 50 years should‘ve made him miserable, is so freaking inspiring to me and I strive to be like that every day (to varying degrees of success, but you can only try your best). I think the story is perfect as it is and I would not change (almost) anything about it, but for me personally, event though Luffy is a perfect fit for it, Brook is my Joyboy. Well then, I‘ll throw on notifications, hope to hear from you again bear man! Till then, cheers!

Ultimately, both led me into meditating at one of the most difficult times of my life where i was nearing a week without sleep, & then overcoming that & overall finally got to feel happy for myself.

Imma put this at the beginning since I wrote so much, this malfunction in cell function has got nothing on you! You're gonna kick that selfish single celled organisms out've your body. Stay strong! I am another person who's life has been deeply changed for the better by this silly, beautiful, romantic, adventure of a story. One piece is just ever so slightly younger than me so I have actually been watching or reading one piece my entire life. Some of first dreams I can remember having are the clouds of the white-white sea and the crew's awestruck faces as a whole world of adventure appeared before their eyes. That aside the idea of fighting for to pursue dreams no matter the obstacles in the way. The understand that with that there needs to be a will and determination to match and overcome those obstacles. How bonds of found family can be as strong as the healthiest of blood relations. And when I had some family members close to me die I found so much solace in Hiruluk's final words that I am gonna alter the quote a bit and make it a tattoo with the initials of the deceased crossed out. Sans the tattoo I consider all these important things I have learned from this series not to mention the times it has pulled me from the depths of depression with it's world.

I watched a loved one go through a very similar journey when it got hard One Piece was an escape for me as well. This video felt so personal and relatable it brought me to tears multiple times. Thanks for sharing your strength and wisdom. Its the kind of thing I know to be true but its hard to jeep going without reminders

I’m sorry to hear that. But I’m glad this story was here for you too. And those reminders, while hard, remind us that we are human. 🐻❤️

I didn't even know you were battling cancer when your channel first popped up in a community post for me so seeing this video title was a bit of a surprise. I'm glad you were able to beat it. I know how hard it is having to go through that after seeing my grandmother die from cancer over a year ago. One Piece is one of those things that has been there for me in bad times like that, and the messages helped my outlook on life. A break from reality that let's me go on adventures to some of the wildest concepts imaginable while being stuck in one place for all of my life so far. Stories like these have a way of connecting people together and finding a purpose in their life, and i hope to make one myself one day. Anyway hope things get better now that the worst has passed for you. Looking forward to more.

life's showing me all the inspirational stuff now, well, I guess this will be the last push to do something, there are so many things I want to do, and even if I beat myself everyday that it wouldn't work, it takes trying to find out, so, whether I see results in a year, or I'm nowhere close to my dream in 5 years, at least I'll know, I started, I chased it, now let's see if I can find it, or something better, Thank you, Mr. Bear, I may be anxious, but pushing post is the first step (if the above isn't clear I wanna start KZbin, it's been a long dream of mine, I've said I'll do it a dozen times, now's the time I actually do, the first step may be hard, and even if each subsequent step is as hard or harder, I'd like to try) I stared at this for over 10 minutes, so I'll just press comment and hope I follow through, 3am motivation help me true

After today I really need this, I don't know if you know the date or anything like that. But thank you for posting something like this. This it got my mind off my own issues and problems with what's going on and I appreciate you being open and honest with your struggles. Thank you

@@BearBitesShow I know it's terrible but I haven't stopped drinking since I found out. I will go to work tomorrow but right now I needed this so I can deal with the repercussions of what's going to come

Hopeful, satisfying and inspirational despite the harshness and the injustice of the world. It applies in One Piece and also in real life.
