There is something that I noticed about Damian, and I don't exactly know if it's intentional, but it certainly fits the character; Whenever there is a situation where he believes a person has commited a crime or is doing something illegal, he will absolutely NOT back down until he carries out punishment (be it arresting them or killing them), no matter if the reality of the situation is more complex than that or implies that the marines may be in the wrong for one reason or another. The whole "The sisters attacked us first" thing being the main one in the last couple of episodes, when in reality they only became aggresive after the group confronted them and tried to arrest them on their own home.

Damian's major flaw is that he approaches situations under the assumption that he is always unambiguously in the right, even when the context implies otherwise. He's one hell of a an anti-hero, even if its in a different way to William or the Shark. NGL, I'd hate his ass if he were a real person but hey, that's the fun of fiction XD

@@antra5074 that’s what it means to be a soldier following orders. He specifically has that attitude because he has the full weight of the world government supporting him. If he’s arresting someone then he’s doing so based off a law or regulation broken. They don’t really have the luxury of picking and choosing which orders to follow because they aren’t Garp or Smoker. In reality if there is a mission regardless of additional context, it is their job to complete it. I feel like that aspect of a military body is lost on a lot of viewers. They can’t really do what they want like One Piece DND. If they do the responsibility for failure will fall directly of the highest ranking officer, which is Damian.

@@Birthday888 their orders were to retrieve the armor which the sisters stood between. They also act as enforcers and have the authority to arrest anyone breaking a law. They were inclined to follow procedures and protocols as arms of the government. And corruption isn’t really an issue for lower ranked marines. The oversight issues begin with anyone with actual power and rank. Someone like Nezumi is only capable of corruption because of the power he’s been granted. You really have to be an officer. If they chose to be corrupt or dismiss their orders they would surely face consequences.

I love the fact that Rustage talked like the fruit was garbage but in the hands of a long armed monk marine? Its a pretty decent fruit -immune to fall damage (i know monks get that option when they level up but the earlier the better) -extra slashing damage with each punch and seeing as how many times Yokan is willing to throw the hands that shit is gonna help -immediately Yokan in normal cat form should be successful in infiltration Stealth checks who the hell is gonna suspect a cat? -also im not sure if Rustage would let this happen but i maybe Yokan can have a abilty as a bonus action to give her advantage to dodge attacks and or half attacks being cats have amazing reflexes -and finnaly unlike Ragnar who’s perception is absolute shit Yokan can use her other senses to help her out in fights Overall this fruit is actually pretty good in the hands of a marine i just love Spooky’s reaction to it as well he doesn’t hate it he instantly vibes with it wich just tells me he is gonna have a lot of fun with this fruit

Monks already have the dodge thing with patient defence and realistically the real reason why rustage says its bad is because monks are already have evasion, most "catlike" tendencies are already monk features and unlike ragnars bear fruit she probably isn't getting much temporary hit points bcs of it (Also dnd cats aren't particularly perceptive but maybe rustage will make an exception in this case)

Again I don't think Damian is evil if anything his alignment is true Neutral due to being a Machine. Damian is a person who is obviously atoning for Tarako Kingdom but doesn't know how to express himself and there's obvious regret and self loathing. This is evidence by the quotes "Talking.... And it's possible that it's actually true that he didn't do anything wrong and instead he wasn't the Sole creator of the Black Armor. I mean there's something telling Damian that it would be so much easier to give into Bloodlust. It wouldn't surprise me if Damian is connect to Captain Verona at G4 and the two of them built the Black Armor together. Damian's subclass is Armorer so it wouldn't surprise me if he built the Black Armor's armor while Captain Verona did the circuitry and programming as well as Damian's conversion into a Machine. If my theory is true then Damian has some memory problems which considering he's a machine could have been considered as corrupted data and purged from his memory banks then replaced by some false memories to consider all that he killed during the Tarako Kingdom uprising as Soldiers. But the memories couldn't be erased completely because Damian's heart acts like a external hard drive for memories that were engraved into it as well as a power source. Again this is all a theory but to me it's a sound theory because there's only one Family in One Piece D&D that is all about heavy cybernetics and mechanization. That being Verona's family on his mother's side. Plus if I'm right then this is a great way to bring in the first members of the Devil's Luck Pirates. It would set up where Verona and Lyssa's shop is and give the Marines a reason to head to the Grand Line.

Advantage on stealth checks and a purring ability that give a bonus to charisma checks. Maybe let her self heal. cats purr and it’s actually a healing mechanism for them the purr at the same frequency ad their bones so it helps bone repair
