I bet everyone here thought that Damian would have just killed Malice because everyone's been comparing Damian to Akainu due to how much Damian believes in Law and Justice. But here's this episode and Malice is alive but imprisoned while the other five living sisters are left free because killing the sisters was never the Crew's mission. Their mission was to retrieve the black armor. Damian is very mission oriented as shown in this episode when he let five living sisters alone and only took Malice into custody and then said that he would leave her sisters names out of the reports. Damian is protective of those under his command and only killed Malady because Kai would have died otherwise. As to the whole but he killed so many people in the Tarako Kingdom. Well it's a multi-layered problem and you need to analyze all perspectives. Yes the rebellion was the right thing to do against the King and his Kingdom but since the King never broke any World Government Laws the King can call upon the Marines to legally deal with the rebellion. So when you look at the perspectives you realize that all of them are correct to a degree. Basically there's the Kingdom then above that is the World Government. The World Government will use it's Marines to protect those under it's umbrella and the Tarako Kingdom was under that Umbrella. Malice is correct in that the uprising was the correct thing to do and that Damian killed many people who weren't professional soldiers. Malice was also correct when she said Malachite was corrupt and deserved to be dethroned. However she's wrong when she says her parents weren't soldiers since said parents were part of a military militia therefore making them unprofessional soldiers. Damian is correct in saying that he never killed civilians as Militia is by definition non-professional or part-time soldiers. He's also correct when he basically said Malachite was in the right when he called upon the Marines. However he's wrong when he basically says to not question their superiors because if they never question their superiors' actions then they can never go around and get actual evidence to prove certain high ranking Marines are corrupt.
