Uh? I didn't know people take Oden flash back story as literal. Its obviously narrated as if it was a Legend. Most of his acts of heroism happened and were embellish through oral accounts just like the bible or mythological events. Oden's flashback its not meant to be taken all literal. Read it with a grain of salt.

Since this is 41 Years ago so here are some character ages: Oden is 18, Kin’emon is 15, Tsuru is 14, Sukiyaki is 40, Hyogoro is 29, Denjiro is 6, as for the others it hard to pinpoint exactly when they met Oden like Kiku couldn’t have met him 41 years ago because then she would have been 1 year old (she is now 22 years old + sent 20 years into the future), but interestingly there was another person we already saw that being a Udon Prisoner named Tsuru (he has turquoise hair) which you can see him as Oden comes into the Flower Capitol. Then to more accurate ages for others at this point of 33 to 30 Years in the past which Oden is 26 - 29, Kin’emon is 23 - 26, Denjiro is 17 - 19, Izo is 12 - 15, Kiku is 9 - 12, Kanjuro is 26 - 2, Raizo is 22 - 25, Doji is 23 - 26, Inuarashi & Nekomamushi are both 7 - 10, Kawamatsu is 8 - 11, Sukiyaki is 48 - 51, & Orochi is 21 - 24

The traitor knew the following things: 1. Raizo was on Zou (And they knew this before the strawhats did). 2. Komurasaki/Hiyori was still alive, and her location 3. The plan. That leaves VERY few individuals. The only possibilities would be Inu, Raizo, Momo, Kin'emon, and Kanjuro. Process of elimination does the rest of the work, going off of everything that happened from Punk Hazard onwards.

- Oden cuts the Mountain God in half using his 2 Sword Style technique called Tougen Shirataki / Paradise Waterfall. Shirataki is a type of Japanese noodles & ingredient in oden while Tougen refers to the type of earthly paradise known as either Shangri-la or The Peach Blossom Spring/Land, also known fully as Tougenkyou - Now in the manga the Mountain God was confirmed to have survive from Oden’s attack showing up a little bit later when Oden went back to the Flower Capital in 1 panel which the anime did not show & in an SBS Oda stated that he cut it so clean that it only needed to be stitched back together - We see a priest explaining why the Mountain God is attacking which looks similar to Hold’em this is not him because he is 30 years old he wasn’t born yet, but this could be someone he is related to - Izo (which was foreshadowed because Oda drew him dancing when he was a kid in a SBS) & Kikunojo (notice that she had a similar face when eating oden is similar to Tama given oshiruko) were the children of the dancing school Hanayanagi School, but their family was torn apart after their father who was the head of a dancing trope until he committed a crime & was arrested. They lived up to now facing for changes until they met Oden which was somewhat cut in the manga - The technique used on Ashura Doji is a 2 sword style (non-canon) techniques called Shimi Daikon (which means "Great Spirit of Samurai”, but is a pun on shimidaikon which is daikon cut into slices placed in oden) where he imbues his swords with an extra amount of Ryuo which extends the blades reach then charges his opponent with the swords crossed & in a single motion unleashing the Ryuo cuts into them all together - After when Oden’s disownment was removed & given the title of the Daimyo of Kuri they celebrated with the people dancing to Shiki’s theme called “Baby Dance” - In the manga it was shown that the 2 Minks after being shown the Road Ponegylph & told of the outside world sailed in a small boat - Nekomamushi was having trouble eating due to having a cat’s tongue which is a play on the term for people who have heat sensitive tongues - Kawamatsu explains that when he was younger he & his mother (who looks a lot different in the manga) crashed onto Wano but due to humans discriminating against fishmen which Kawamatsu is a Japanese puffer fishman she tells him to inform people that he is a kappa

"One Piece faces are unrivaled" Hit that on the head. That face he drew for Sanji in Whole Cake Island when he couldn't light his smoke outside of Puddings room in the rain; fucking hell. That emotion was so specific and expertly represented with depth that I relived the emotion. I don't even mean the whole empathy feeling for anothers situation; it made me relive the emotion from a time in my own life when I felt that way. It wasn't just recognising it, it was knowing it and very few artists manage to incept such psychological realistic emotion. It was an instinctual reaction kind of like the hate people have for that Umbridge woman in Harry Potter.

Kozuki Oden (voiced by Hiroya Ishimaru / Robbie Daymond) birthday Feb. 22nd aka National Oden Day, blood type F, & height is 382 cm / 12’6”, & his favorite food along with what’s his name is based on Oden 🍢 is a type of nabemono (Japanese one-pot dishes), & that loves to eat it so much that he cooked it on a friend that being a man by the name Katsuzo whose body is being cremated - Oden called Shanks “Akatarou” which “aka” is the Japanese word for “red” while “-tarou” is a common suffix for the eldest son, & as for Buggy he calls him “Buggyjiro” which -jirou means “2nd Son” - After Sukiyaki (voiced by Ryuzaburo Otomo / John Burgmeier) says he was tired of his son’s “antics” the man who he is talking too is his retainer Banzaburo (voiced by Takahiro Fujimoto) who loves Oden’s feats since birth which seem to rival the feats that Heracles accomplished like they both at birth threw something across the room (Heracles it was snakes), move a river, & defeat a giant boar - Interestingly there was another person we already saw that being a Udon Prisoner named Tsuru (he has turquoise hair) which you can see him as Oden comes into the Flower Capitol - At the teashop there was mention of boss Kurokoma (means “black chess piece”) in some extra content he was going to appear in the manga but was cut who is looking for for a white boar which this little one named Koyama (voiced by Nanami Taguchi) because he wanted to use the boar to destroy Hyogoro

You know, there was a study done where they wanted to see if spoilers effected someone's enjoyment of something. So they took a group of people and had them read a book they'd never read and then took some other people and had them read the same books only they knew about crucial plot twist. Almost unanimously the people with the spoiled experience actually ended up enjoying the book more. Now, I'm not suggesting you should just actively seek spoilers for everything (I mean, you're already caught up with One Piece anyway), but I would suggest just not caring when it happens. I mean, the less you think about it, the less it's going to be on your mind when the moment actually happens, you know?

When they reached the part when it came to introducing the animals of the Red Scabbards, they never really officialize it in the anime or even the manga, but to clarify one thing would be Kawamatsu (the Kappa) is a Japanese Puffer Fish-Man; essentially clarifying that all those poisonous fish that they kept feeding Kawamatsu while he was imprisoned wouldn't have hardly done any real life-threatening harm to him

It truly helped flesh out a LOT: Whitebeard, Roger, Orochi, Kaido, the Scabbards and of course Wano's eventual downfall at the hands of Kaido. Absolutely wonderful

With another intermission done with we return to the final act but on the night of the raid storm clouds rage, ships destroyed thanks to Orochi's intel, the bridges blown up, the Sunny bombed, Okobore town burned down, and no allies around the samurai. It is too late to turn back now. I mean, your concerns with the Sunny are usually answered by the fact that Franky is fixing it. With the Merry they had no proper shipwright, Usopp did the best he could with limited knowledge, but the Sunny was built by Franky from the ground up, plus it's made of sturdy material - the same wood that Roger's ship was made of remember? So I'm not sure we will lose the Sunny. But before we move forward into impossible odds, Oda brings us to the flashback, the greatest flashback he's done so far: the life, adventures and death of the Gigachad Kozuki Oden. Plus new eyecatchers, best ones in the series I think. The stage is set in Wano, over 40 years ago. A young Oden is the troublesome son of the Shogun Sukiyaki and gets disowned for taking the blame for the Mountain God incident, whereby a young Kin'emon stole the god's child in order to pay off his debt to his future wife. Inspired by Oden, Kin'emon and haggler Denjiro become his first followers, picking up members of the future Akazaya in their travels - including Izou, future Whitebeard Division Commander who we met in Marineford. After soloing Ashura Doji, Oden builds the lawless lands of Kuri into a civil and upstanding nation, being its Daimyo and his followers - including the ostracized Minks, Inuarashi and Nekomamushi, and Fishman, Kawamatsu, his samurai. 11 years have passed since the Mountain God incident, Oden a respected Daimyo and his followers educated retainers, but Wano is still too cramped for Oden: Enter Whitebeard.
