@@springcao9324 sorry for replying to a comment years ago but no, that’s not true since this game came out before the series even have been at that point. Sanji was originally intended to be a gunslinger and his special in that game seems to be a reference for that.

@@Christhe3rdlol well that’s why I was explicitly writing about the series and *not* the manga. Back then they usually didn’t put characters in a One Piece game when they haven’t been seen in the anime yet. And yes, I DID the math. The game came out in March 2001, the Whiskey Peak episode released in April 2001. I think there’s not much to discuss about.

This game was so much fun... those XX Counter finishers were dope. :D And smokers 1st finisher was an endless death trap, in case the opponont couldn't change the level downwards and you were standing far enough away.

Don Krieg's MH5 is the third most terrifying special attack in this game, after Mihawk and Shanks Level 2 Special attack. MH5 inflict huge damage to your health and give you "poisoned" status, keep tormenting you and depleting your health. If you got hit with MH5, pretty much you have lost the fight, unless miracles happen.

How did we do the "special" ? I tried every buttons, but that didnt work. Did we have to unlock this abilities or what ?

When your health is low enough you unlock the different special moves, then you need to press L1 to charge and then a button combination that is different for each character. For example: once Usopp's health is low enough he will reach Lvl.1 and can use his first special move which is L1+X+X. Get to lower health and you get to Lvl.2, then you can use L1+Triangle+Circle. On Lvl.3 you can use L1+Square+Triangle+Circle. You can check the button combinations for each character in the command list in the pause menu.

@Amin Muhandis Darwis Hmm, maybe only the second game had the command lists. However, the first game definetly has a character viewer in the main menu. I think it's under "Treasure". Once you beat Event Battle Mode with a character, that characters moves should be viewable there. Though the most common combinations are: X+X=Counter Special move Square+X= Chargeable Special Move Triangle+Circle= Strike Secial Move X+Triangle= Summon a Crewmember (like how Buggy can summon Moji or Kabaji)
