Nice woodworking. But that's some seriously incorrect physics you've got there. You are applying principles that come from acoustic instruments, where bridge admittance is high, to electric solid body instruments, where bridge admittance is very low. In short, tapping big solid chunks of wood, even if you did it after they are sized (which would matter for an acoustic instrument), is a total waste of time. If it makes you "feel" better about the wood, fine. But it makes zero difference to the actual physics of the finished instrument.

That's somewhat true, the tapping will be done many times during the process. And YES, it does make me feel better about the wood 😁

And thank you for commenting, you just gave me an idea of a new video regarding my principles of acoustics in solid bodies. Cheers

@@coilsboutiquepickups Good idea. I look forward to an evidence-based coverage. Not just opinions, like those of some good guitarists who say that they judge the acoustic sound first. Because with respect, one needs some scientific background to correctly identify the relevant physics. Which is why you get similar numbers of experienced guitarists saying either that the acoustic sound matters, or the complete opposite, that it is irrelevant. There is plenty of good published science from measurements on real solid body electrics.

@@vw9659 we'll try our best to prove the concepts. I already have some ideas of how to do that
