All of those Zoans however had the same thing, they could only transform between their human form, a full animal, or a hybrid. Chopper is the only Zoan who has shown the ability to change into drastically different forms. I believe it even states that the Rumble Balls disrupt the wave length of Devil Fruits, granting new abilities. Somehow he found a way to permanently disrupt their wave length without having to eat the pills, except for going into Monster Point.

its probably like muscles, regular zoans and grip and flex the muscles, turning into hybrid and full zoan, but chopper made medicine (more like a drug) that disrupts the muscles, making it so he can chose what to flex and how, that would explain how 2 rumble balls made him unable to control his forms, and with 3 he stretched the muscle beyond the limit, and caused damage to himself, with the monster point, slowly he learned the feeling and trained those muscles so that he can do it without rumble balls

Chopper now has more than 7 transformations, and yet he only needs the Rumble Ball to turn into Monster Point. That means he discovered a way to permanently alter his Devil Fruit's ability, he's clearly a genius! But now I wonder.... what happens if he eats multiple rumble balls after acquiring this?

don't have to be fast when your hand is the size of a car. it's not overpowered anyways, he's like on par with franky while in this form, but it's major weakness is the 3 minute time limit. but within that 3 minute time limit, he likely could have beaten luffy before the timeskip with that power, he's just a beast.
