If you have the right guy leading the animation you end up with amazing scenes. Opm didn’t have a crazy budget, just the best people at pretty much every aspect of animating. That’s why just a simple style change can make all the difference like with dragon ball super broly and super hero and the wano arc in one piece. They get a simpler style that a better animators can work with.

@@zondor8123 Actually most of Mappa animators WERE freelancers, a common misconception is that most animators were in-house, while in actuality most were freelancers who were reached out to and given insane deadlines to make, vincent chansard, who worked on this episode actually, (he did the big blackbeard quake) said he would never work with mappa again after his work on jjk season 2, and actually announced he was going in-house with toei to work on one piece.

Hello Chibi, I think that the part of Cracket vs Kuzan was awesome and the fight between Law vs Blackbeard was superb. I think there is a Hearth figure like when law uses R-Room and he cuts the horse, and yeah, the mountains look like penis with pearls (Like Sun-Ken Rock, a character from that series), adult stuff and Black beard use the fruit of tremor (Gura Gura no mi) and uses Haki too. Doctor Q uses the fruit Sick Sick no Mi and turn Law in to a Woman and then the rest of his crew. Thank you chibi for the review and a hug and a goodbye.

I kinda wish they did something like that with monster as well. I've recommended it to so soo many people but it's always a big issue how the show felt outdated and it's hard to get into it. You practically have to force yourself to watch 20 eps first because I feel the same as the ones who I recommend it to. The studio would earn bucks as well if they remake it!

This is probably some of the worst case of freelancing because there are no quality control check in this episode, it means the style is all over the place and you can even see its another freelancer working on different scene once it enters the uncanny YT fanmade animation. Not to mention the sacrificing of details for some few more frames with questionable bad storyboarding (some frames cover up too much just to hide details), and blobs with uneven lines is not good way of handling the animation. Honestly the anime industry should go back to the 90s where it had more cohesive style, not these fan animation with cartoon physics and 3d models with toon shaders in the background to cut down time. Ofcourse its not much that can be expected in a weekly/bi-weekly show, but atleast bring in some realism to the show and ground it more.

@@visupreme2757well jjk is a higher selling series by a couple million and it's fandom go crazy so yea makes sense. I've been seeing more and more normal people hop on the mha train tho as the series is ending. Idk I feel like half of mhas bad reputation comes from non mha fans not being able to seperate their opinion from their hate towards the fanbase itself. I never personally understood why people base their opinions off of what the internet says, thinks, or acts. My issue isnt that chibi believes mha has dropped in quality, it has dropped in quality to an extent even tho I think it's still quite solid of a series at times. My issue with chibi lies in this false notion that mha "fell off", or that nobody talks about it anymore, which is kinda a false agenda to believe in. Alot of hypocritical points are thrown at mha for reasons nothing more than a trend to view it negatively for said reasons. Quality is one thing, a fairly subjective topic, but metrically, aswell as in terms of every other definition for "falling off" mha doesn't fit into that definition. I mean it wasnt that long ago when mha became the tenth HIGHEST selling WSJ manga out there. Not a bad feat for a manga that is "falling off". And the sales continue to stay consistent. Aswell as everything that happened post the first war arc sky rocketed the popularity of mha in Japan. I believe it was volume 32 or 33 that absolute boomed mhas sales and broke its own records. And the sales have stayed consistent since then. 2023 sales were down 34 percent I believe but that's because it sold one less volume than the year before. And the last volume of the year before did extremley well. (Sales doesn't equal quality yes ik but if mha had actually fallen off we would've seen a major sale dip)
