I just went to Japan and I played one in a toy store. I bought just one ticket and I got ticket B! Which was a big anniversary Winni the pooh push toy. It was like the best day ever!

Because the US has rampant theft, alot more so than Japan. Crime Levels in the US is 3-4 times more than in Japan. On top of this, US convenience stores aren't as commonly used compared to Japan, and believe it or not, there are not in every town/everywhere like in japan. the only real "Chain" we have thats recognizable compared to the US is 7/11 however, US 7/11's and Japanese ones are vastly different (and US ones are well, shit) Unless some companies are willing to take a large chance. (Especially when in 7/11's case, most of the time there is at most 1 worker, especially in the evenings) And just roll the dice and see how it goes, Which I'd very much love. I highly doubt shit will happen. Disney may make alot of money, but they have to outweigh the cost of theft to the potential profit. Which knowing them as a company they will not see in US consumers. The Japanese people are alot more kind, and orderly. They obey etiquette and such, so companies are more willing to do these things because for them, the profit it generates compared to the potential loss in theft is quite low. ESPECIALLY since Japan is known for Extremely Amazing Customer Service, so guarding product is much more expected for a common worker. TL:DR; The USA is full of shit people and companies wont chance it cause its too high. Sorry for the wall of text lol

Second that. In Germany some stores have Gachapons, crane games and lotteries too. Besides that, we have a lot of festivals where they put up that stuff each year. But I wouldn't say that the US is just shitty. It's just difficult to keep up order in a big country. The bigger the country, the greater the chaos.
