I love Big Mom! Her theme is so fitting for her character and her arc. Love the carnival/candyland/Disney villain aesthetic of her and her island. Plus shes genuinely scary and made our heroes have to run away instead of stay and fight. Awesome villain and theme here!

I think it's exactly that she isn't like Doffy or Blackbeard that makes her good and unique to me. Or like Kaido either for that matter. And I'm not saying I dislike Doffy or Blackbeard or think they are bad villains. Not at all, I think Doffy was one of the best OP villains. But it's nice to have something different too. And Big Mom was definitely that. Different. She is menacing and scary in her own personal way and you can see just how crazy powerful she is when she gets serious. If I'm completely honest: If it wasn't for the writing and some pretty crazy plot armor + nerfing her when the plot requires it, I think she would have absolutely demolished the Straw Hats when they were in Whole Cake Island. No question. Just think how much effort it took from Luffy to defeat Katakuri and he wasn't even the main guy but a crew member + he was fighting honorably. If he was anyone else and dropped honor I think Luffy would be dead.

Big Mom sticks out the most among the other characters. While Whitebeard, Blackbeard, Shanks, Roger, and even Kaido look fairly normal in a pirate setting if not freakishly strong, Big Mom straight up looks like a twisted cartoon. Her personality and powers support her looks being both maniacally sinister and childish. She is the personification of a fantasy brought to life and I’m all for it.

After she ate one year off her life, she was never shown to even be arrogant the rest of the fight; she looked desperate and pissed at the last phase of the fight.
