Great gameplay I find gear 5 annoying since he is a sky type but he’s a good character.

Thanks 🙏🏻 I’m not too fond of Gear 5 because it’s a bit too crazy for me. It’s kinda difficult to use combo strings on single targets consistently. Thankfully he builds special gauge in that mode super fast so you can just spam specials

The fact that you managed to stay in Gear 5 throught the whole mission and get an overall grade S is amazing but it also lowkey pisses me off 😂 I finally beat this stage with Gear 5 Luffy while maintaining Gear 5 transformation but I got overall grade A cuz I went over the 15 minute mark....I will change my skills to match what you had in this video and see if it will get better, but i have to ask, why do you choose the skills that you choose for this stage????

I find that the combination I use works well for the character. For example, on some characters I use Undying but on a few I don’t - this is usually determined by how well I can either KO enemies quickly or how well I can avoid getting hit In Luffy’s case, Gear 5 is best used as a way to just spam his strong specials so I use skills that allow him to prolong his Gear 5 state as well as make sure damage is kept high For the most part my builds are all about maximizing damage

do you know which of gear 5's attacks smash?

Can’t confirm, I’m afraid. I wish the combo list indicated which ones were smash attacks I have a feeling that his special where he punches a red Haki blast forward is considered a smash attack though
