The reason there is Hyozou and the promo Hyozou is because he is erratad into merfolk, so they made the promo to fix that issue.

I think Hody will be a sneaky counter to Bonney. Resting their don with Hody's leader effect before attacking will disrupt them

I believe the reason for the promo with the same affect is because the hyouzou was incorrectly printed as fishman and is meant to be merfolk so was errated. Which means that he can't be played by the 5 cost. The promo is fishman so can be played from it :)

I've been doing 07 practice games at my local shop and have been on a roll with 07 Hody. Beating Enel, Moria, Sabo, and more. I don't always win, but it's doable I'm excited.

​@Vvulfrik right now one of the best tech in the deck is Aladine, card is bonkers not only is it a blocker, it plays a Fishman cost 3 or less, so on death can play a Daruma or a Vander Decken. The other day I blocked a rush kaido with it and killed the rush kaido.

I’m BRAND NEW to the tcg, read the manga as a teen and used to play pokemon tcg with my daughter before she outgrew it! She likes tcgs and likes the anime art style so she’s hooked on one piece and the TCG now!! We got 2 boosters for OP06 and pulled most of this deck and the Vinsmoke deck!! Your videos are great and been a massive help to getting up and running.. basic AF question…. How do we get on the simulator??

Love the Hody content! I think the best play you can do with Aladdin is cheat out Daruma with him on KO. Daruma can be a powerful finisher but he can be removed easily so it's a decent way of getting Daruma out late game and decreasing the chance he'll be removed before he can do any damage.

The hody and hiyouzou is meant to be playable off of the 5c that plays a 4 or less fish man. The hiyouzou by himself is merfolk so adding hody gave him the fishman type. Also they are when attacking as opposed to hiyouzou activate main so technically objectively worse but atleast can get cheated out.

Ya I finally realized it by the end of the video an unfortunate and seemingly unnecessary technicality against Hody, but it is what it is.

For 7 Don. Drop Van then trash stage or fishman. Kill 1 Then drop Law to pick up Van then drop again, trash again the kill 1. Its like a double raigo but with cards.

I like the op-07 koala it allows any cost 5 or lower fish man character to be a blocker.

Love to see some Hody Love! Super fun leader, nobody expects it, and nobody really Know what the cards do 😂 Example…swinging in Dosun when he is Battle Proof for the turn It feels good to drop Zoro and win a game with Hody that you have no place winning. Van Decker is so OP

There's no real way to get featured currently, that's why I have that overlay on my games that hide each players names and the chat, I also change my name every day so there is no way of knowing if you're playing against me. If Bandai ever comes out with a real/official Online Client with a legitimate ranking system like they have in some of their other TCG's I would start streaming.

This is just the first version of the deck to see how it was running and it ended up being pretty solid, but could definitely use some revisions.
