funny thing is, this sound track, despite being called "the fight continues" seems to mostly play when a fight is at its end. And it doesn't sound like the type of music to play during a fight. Then I thought, maybe the "fight" in this case doesn't mean a particular battle but rather the fight that is life. As in, yeah, this fight is over, but life goes on and there will be more fights down the road. Someone else can probably explain it better but hopefully you see what I mean.

What a beautiful song for a beautiful character! Shanks always reminds me of the One Piece world’s Obi-Wan Kenobi and, quite fittingly, this song feels like his version of The Force theme. Whenever I listen to it, I’m reminded of how I started my One Piece journey to begin with. I saw a photo of Shanks from the live action adaptation, and I had some, let’s say, feelings about him. I just needed to know more, so I watched the LA and loved it, then I started the anime, and now, even after 500+ episodes(I’m at Fishman Island right now), Shanks is still my favorite One Piece character. He brought me into this, after all. I owe my entire OP journey to this diplomatic, strong and dignified, yet goofy and laid back, hot ginger pirate man. While listening to this beautiful masterpiece I imagined how One Piece anime would end. Many decades has passed and Brook is telling stories about Strawhat pirates epic adventures to bunch of kids somewhere in a village. Brook then stops and tells the kids to go home because it's late. The kids ask for more, but finally give up and go home. One kid stops at the door and looks back to Brook. He then raises his fists in the air and yells towards Brook with a confident voice : "I will become a great pirate like Luffy!... I swear...I want to gather a crew and find One Piece!" Brook looks silently at the kid as he recognizes an old friend in that kid. He then goes : "Yohoho... so you want to become a pirate king? A pirate king needs a ship you know. Do you have one? " The kid lowers his fists and answers : "No... but... but I can build a raft! I'm not afraid to go to the sea with a raft , I fear nothing!" "I see, well good luck then kid. But you need to rest now. Tomorrow is another day full of opportunities yohoho " Brook answers. The kid nods with a serious face and runs home. "He really is like him.." says Brook to himself quietly. " Yosh, I need to go now. " Brook takes a bag with him and leaves to an unknown location. Next scene Brook is sitting in front of gravestones. Meat, bottle of sake, pack of cigarettes, bottle of cola and other recognizable items can be seen in front of each gravestone. Brook looks to the night sky and talks to himself with a quiet voice : " If we only could have one more adventure together , you guys... It's been so quiet." He then takes a sip of wine and says :" Well well, didn't think I'd meet you here this night... ." "Yeah... well I wanted to say hello to my old friends." Says the old man standing behind Brook with a fragile voice. He sits down next to Brook and takes off his hood. It's Coby as an very old man in his 90s. They sit quietly and then Brook says: "I met a kid today, a kid as stubborn as Luffy was. He told me that he'll become the next pirate king." Coby smiles :" Well... it's been too quiet, hasn't it?" "Yohoho, indeed my friend" The two sit there and start talking about the good old times.This picture of the two turns into a dreamy scene where the Strawhats ship is sailing into the sunset. Echoes of laughter and joy can be heard as the music starts and the narrator says something beautiful about being a pirate, about being a family.THE END

I wish people could see this Shanks after a tough battle against Blackbeard. Protected Luffy just like he did when he was a kid. Luffy holds the one who gave him his hat, the one who started his pirate life, the one who was the most like a father to him. Dieing his arms, shanks last words to Luffy are the single most important, The will of D! Dreamers who dare to fight against the world, passed down many generations with many names, they smile at deaths embrace. Shanks asks for a cup of sake, drinks it before giving Luffy back his straw hat as he dies like his own father. Protecting those he loved and cared for. Flashbacks of shanks growing up with Rodger, training with him. Everyone stops fighting to take a knee in respect of shanks. Blackbeard and his crew surprisingly do as even though they were enemies. They respected him

No one brings this up... but this song plays when Chopper is taken by the Foxy Pirates after the first round. Chopper's speech followed by Zoro's is incredibly moving and is probably the highlight of that Arc for me. The whole thing might seem silly and not important, but looking at it from Chopper's point of view and the emotion in his voice is probably one of my favorite moments from him. "Guys!"
