I just got this game a few days ago. I haven't played it with anyone else yet, but tomorrow should fix that, but I have tried it solo and it's really great. One thing I did spot, at 8:05 you replaced a 6 with double 3's. Now I still don't pretend to be an expert on the rules, but does it not take a greater number on the die/dice to kick other dice off cards? But your video was great and I really enjoyed it, thanks for posting.

Thanks for your Video Playthrough SO much! I just purchased this Game, and after reading the Booklet, was still a little unclear on the Solo Variant (I purchased it specifically for the solo play) and so this cleared a couple of things up for me! :-) Really appreciated.

Thanks so much for doing this video! I was considering getting the physical game after seeing it on Tabletopia, and the thoughts as you played were very helpful. I ordered it hoping to have some fun as a single player game in addition to multiplayer with the family.

Great to hear - yeah I think the multiplayer kinda 'take-that' drafting stuff is really fun, but the solo mode manages to keep that excitement, which is commendable..

Yes! I still use it quite a bit, I need to reprint the base though, otherwise I end up with runaways..!

Don’t all treasures you collect become face down so you can then flip them for collector rewards? Or do you collect the cards as they are whether face up or face down? I’m a bit confused about the rules!

Yeah, in the multiplayer game, your score is hidden information, but in the solo, I feel like you don’t really need to hide it from yourself, at least, as long as you can remember which rewards you’ve collected, without having them be differentiated like that.

Great play through thank you. I am confused in one part: when you had to roll two threes and a four. You roll the one a two and a three. And then from there I didn’t understand how you put a three on one of the cards? I thought you didn’t hit anything you needed , wouldn’t you just lose all your servants?

Hmm, can you send a timestamp, I’d like to take a look, but I can’t find the exact point of the video you’re referencing!

Designer of Crypt here! You need to roll the number that you bid or higher to keep the die. So for example, if you bid a 4 and roll a 3, you lose the die. But if you bid a 3 and roll a 3, you get to keep the die. When he rolls the two 3's and a 4 he should have rolled them separately. Because he rolled all the dice at the same time, we can't really see if the resulting 3 that he rolled was on the die that was bid as a 3 or a 4. In the video, he gives himself the benefit of the doubt and keeps the 3.

This is a great explanation - thank you! Also, thank you for an excellent game - anything else in the works currently?

@@jeffreychin751 So you're responsible for this little gem of a game? Excellent sir, truly a fantastic game. Maybe I'll have a word with our new King (I'm a Brit) and see about getting you knighted? "Arise Sir Jeffrey Chin.", how does that sound? 😂
