Millets should be soaked for overnight ?
@bhusanur.cooking9 ай бұрын
😊😊Soaking millets overnight is not always necessary, but it can be beneficial in some cases. While soaking millets overnight can enhance their nutritional value and digestibility, it's not always mandatory. It ultimately depends on your preference and schedule.

Kodo and barnyard millet are very similar.... Its called bhagar in Maharashtra barnyard millet... I cook polished kodo same way... But it taste uncooked both bhagr and kodo..😔
@bhusanur.cooking Жыл бұрын
Kodo and barnyard millet are indeed similar, but they do have some differences in terms of cooking. Remember that the exact cooking time may vary based on the type of millet and the brand you're using. If you find that your millets are still uncooked or have an unusual taste, you can experiment with the water-to-millet ratio and cooking time until you achieve the desired texture and flavor. Typically, for kodo and barnyard millet, you can use 2 cups of water for 1 cup of millet.
