1/2 tablespoon red chilli powder
1/2 tablespoon Sambar masala
Curry leaves, mustard seeds, cumin, green chilli, dry red chilli
1 moti elaichi (black cardamom)
1/2 teaspoon haldi (turmeric)
1 spoon ghee

Step 1: Soak rice, moong dal, and Arhar dal in water for an hour.
Step 2: Heat ghee in a pressure cooker. Add mustard seeds, dry red chilli, Moti elaichi, cumin, green chilli, and curry leaves. Let the mustard seeds crackle and release their nice smell.
Step 3: Put tomatoes, diced carrots, ghiya, and potato in the pressure cooker. Cook until they become soft and smell delicious.
Step 4: Add the rice and dal mixture and gently stir to mix all the flavors and spices.
Step 5: Add water, close the pressure cooker, and let it cook with one whistle. Then, let it steam.
Step 6: Your one-pot rasam rice is ready. Now, it's time to add tangy tamarind paste. Cook uncovered for 5-10 minutes to blend the flavors.
