Now, I love One Punch Man. BUT! If you ever get around to it. The same guy wrote another manga that got an excellent adaptation by Studio Bones (MHA) called Mob Psycho 100. It’s not a long show at all. It’s legit a masterpiece with such a great ending and the animation is sublime. (Also, it’s one of the few shows where the dub SLAPS. I actually recommend the dub over the sub.)

Funny coincidence, that you'd see two episodes of different series involving golden balls, so closely together. ^^ Watchdogman is best boy in the S-Class. :) Don't mistake his cuddly looks for weakness, he truly earned his place in S-Class. I think or at least hope, that Saitama just took some of the outer leaves of the monster, so it's like he's eating only the "hair" not the main body.

If the anime ever catches up to the manga you just wait to see when Saitama fights Monster Garo, that's when you start to see the level of power he unleashes. Every attack he does begins with "killer move series dot-dot-dot" where it's doing way more damage than what earth could handle.

What makes Saitama so strong is not how powerful he is but the fact he has no limits. You always hear what if he fought Goku or Superman? While those two guys are powerful in their own right they do have limits, Saitama does not. If he encounters a danger that requires him to try he starts to not hold back and when he does finally reach the point he does not have to hold back he starts to actually try harder when his opponent already has been trying very hard to win. Everyone else has powers or ki or magic or alien heritage, Saitama is straight up human and does not have a step to work off from.

Part of the point of the whole show is that the normal assumption is the strongest guy somehow DESERVES his power, because he was morally awesome, and trained the hardest. But Saitama is just … posing. He’s just infinitely powerful, didn’t earn it, not sure why people keep asking him stuff about it.

It was left out of the anime, but it is in the manga that Saitama didn't kill Kombu Infinity, he just ripped out her hair. At the last strand, Saitama remembered how bad it felt to be bald, so he left a third of the seaweed to keep the monster from feeling bad. 😊

The constant bald jokes about Saitama come from the fact that having full head of black was extremely important to business men and politicians. They would lie about and cover up getting it dyed regularly as if it was a scandal. Then they retired and suddenly they have grey hair 3-4 months later. It was just a weird Japanese quirk. To be fair I learn about that ~20 years ago so things might have changed.
