Bruh in the manga u can actually see the building breaking as metal bat slammed his bat ....and the cars jumped up further than that in the manga but in the anime it's barely noticeable...they made em less overwhelming in the anime...and the manhole that garou sent and metal hit was supposed to be deflected on light posts and buildings and stuff and metal bat tackles garo towards the manhole that came back and it hits and sent garo flying. They made him so weak and dumb in the anime.

huh, I'm pretty sure the manhole bounce was changed and edited out in an updated version by Murata-sensei (the manga artist). Probably since a hunk of metal is not elastic enough to boomerang back from a concrete building lol. But yes, the whole fight was underwhelming compared to the manga: animation quality is fine and readable at least, but god that camera work and placement is horrid to follow. Whoever is directing the storyboard this season is exceedingly amateur...

No, he was extremely exhausted and completely drained out of energy after that extremely intense fight with Garou,that's why it was easy for his lil' sis to hit him KO with one slap/slash with one hand, yet not a completely ideal KO, especially because to that moment's huge exhaustion of him he tried to hide. The think is, the original director and the entirety of the staff he brought in for season 1 wanted to do season 2 aswell but they had to do it in a certain time range, the director wasn't available at that time because he was working on something else so they just gave it the first studio that was available instead of waiting for the director to be done with whatever he was working on(boogiepop).

I'm going to be honest here. The anime ruined one of the best fights in the manga and downplayed metal bats power. If metal bat hit garo in that one moment then garou would have died and this has been stated by either One or Murata I'm not sure which. Metal bat is far more suited to fight monsters due to his brute strength style and garou was simply faster than metal bat and metal bat was just simply physically stronger

Metal Bat had been fighting a demon lvl monster n a dragon lvl(dragon lvl demons are strong af) so Garou went into the fight with the advantage. if that hit had landed which i think would've Garou could have died according to the Creator of the manga. Also look out for Suiryu
