That was something, that overpowered his own life goal: to feel this excitement of a battle. At this point it wasn't even matter what he truly wanted, since Saitama have gained and lost something more important: the people, that brought life sense to his being, the emotions, he was looking for. I think it was insanely clever for Saitama to hold onto genos's core throughout the fight as a way to subtly force him to hold back, even when going all out. Even when he's using his full power, he's still handicapped. Genius, and also extremely infuriating.
@ventusargentum99572 жыл бұрын
. . . That statement contradicts itself. Either they're using full power, or they're not. If they're handicapped in any way, then they clearly aren't. Seriously, it's impossible for someone to be going "all out" if they are _willingly only using one arm._ Sure he let loose, but that's about it. He was allowed to use a greater percentage of power thanks to being moved off the Earth. That's it.

@@a.kzestos2085 Garous whole goal in life was to become the absolute evil so that people would rise up together in unity to try and fight him/ be under his rule so that no one would have to be excluded or bullied in their lives like he had been as a kid just for being different from the rest. The small kid was one of the people he wanted to protect from the world that would bully him just for being different from the rest, so he was using the kid as a emotional support for his cause, " i need to become the absolute evil, to protect kids like him" so when he saw that the kid was dead, his whole reason for doing the thing he was doing was kinda pointless and he then also realised that saitama was also holding onto support in a different sense " protecting those he cares about" while having Genoses Core in his hand. @mylessteel97552 жыл бұрын
I think its a lot deeper then that. Genos is his support to humanity, when he dies Sitama has no regard for the planet anymore. The punch squared would have destroyed it had blast and his people not sent them to Jupiter. He quickly becomes more scary and a much larger threat to existence than Garo ever did. I think genos showing up and being his friend stopped Sitama from turning into the ultimate threat. He just wouldn't relate to humanity without him. he did leave Garo alive though so maybe I'm wrong.

This definitely one of the best manga animation i have ever seen 🤯
Saitama gave Boros a thrill in a fight, sure he was holding back, but as he admitted, he had fun. He knew he'd beat him, so he prolonged it for the both of them. When he fought speed, he never took him seriously, speed enjoyed the fighting too much and Saitama stopped him. But Garou. Garou made a grave mistake. Saitama didn't want to just hurt him, or kill him. He wanted him to understand very clearly. That Garou will never reach his power. He always be left in the dust, he will always drag behind, Saitama showed Garou, that he is weak. Slapping him around with one hand. Humiliating Garou, because Saitama knew, the only way to defeat such an opponent, is to not break their body, but their ego.
