Then you should grow up. A successful team is always going to attract more supporters and that isn't a phenomenon that only applies to United. Kids in the 70's and 80's in the south of England would support Liverpool, Leeds and Everton and even in the 90's I saw kids in Berkshire wearing Blackburn and Newcastle tops, and that's just in this country. Actually the real reason fans hate my club - Chelsea- is for our exaggerated defensive style of football. I still remember to this day how everyone kept criticizing our heavy defending style and calling our style antifootball , then it got even worse when We coined the term “ park the bus” very recently and if you took a look of all Chelsea managers 90% of them play tactical defending style, and when Sari tried to change that, we took our biggest defeat since the establishment of the premier league. Sacking and treating our mangers is very bad but it’s not why fans hate Chelsea.
