With this gear do you prefer to run shadow destruction over shadow affliction for pvp? I know ur running a crit build here, but the drain life & master channeler + instant corruption are so convenient for pvp I feel I can’t give it up

Shadow affliction is extremely strong. I find most effective is putting 5 points in improved shadow bolt, with demonic grace. Crit rank 1 shadow bolt. 20% increased shadow dmg, then haunt rune another 20% shadow dmg. Improved drain life with master channeler, amplify curse, COA, improved corruption.

Are you fishing for shadow bolt crits with rank 1, and once it lands the debuff you pop demonic and shadwobolt*rank4) haunt shadow burn?

Exactly. With 1 talent point in range, and 5 in imp shadow bolt, it makes it very easy to fish for them from afar and very quick casts. Shadow Bolt's cast will allow haunt to be shot as soon as its done casting. And since they both have to "fly" to the target, youre able to time the shadow burn so they all hit at once.

I've been trying pvp as a warlock but I always end up just blasted out the get go. Noticed most of the people in this video were not even going after you, any tips on how to avoid being focused to kingdom come?

Put talent point into increased range. Sacrifice Voidwalker early (people will drop target when youre shielded). Always stay in the back, pick your fights. I am always going between bezerker huts, so always scanning the field. Hiding in bushes xD or around the stumps.

Look for team fights, for targets who are already targeting and attacking others but not getting attacked themselves.

I am using 2 out of 3 runes specifically for crit. One is baseline 10% crit at all times. The other is 30% crit for the next 6 seconds. Plus your standard 5% crit from gear. You can do this full rotation in 6 seconds. 45% chance on crit per spell. :D

Actually not at all really. Warlocks have the spells, Voidwalker Sacrifice (like 600 damage shield), Health Stone (like another 200 health), and you can use health potions (all separate). As long as you have sould shards you can immediately call up another voidwalker and make another health stone.

Also rumsey rum buff, food buff, stamina elixir, scroll of stamina. You can self buff a ton. And all of this and previous mentioned spells, are all solo. If you have a healer on your team, that also helps!

Yup! For extra damage, you can put talent points into improved shadow bolt. Used rank 1 shadow bolts until you crit, then use the highest rank shadow bolt in the rotation. (only 20% more but but helps!)

It will be even better for phase 2. Ruin talent -increase the critical strike damage bonus of your destruction spells by 100%. Shadow Bolt and Shadow Burn are both affected by this. Also there is a waist rune, Shadow and Flame - Your crits increase damage by 10% for 10 seconds. It will be way stronger.
