I found this utterly fascinating. Listening to you talk about your collection and why you got them, how you had them customised, why you got rid of them, was all very interesting. Custom figures is something I'd love to learn a lot more about, but I'm struggling to find much information or advice. Mainly regarding head sculpts. How do you go about getting the character you want? Do you find a sculptor and commission them to make one for you, or do you find sculpts that are already for sale and buy those? The three characters I want (to start with, there are more I'd go after later) are obscure so I can't imagine there'd be any out there for sale. I've looked and looked but have had no success. So I'd be willing to pay a sculptor I liked the work of to make them, but haven't the first clue how to go about finding the sculptor. Any advice you can give would be greatly appreciated.
