Shelly, I'm so glad to see you posting again! This foundation looks SO absolutely gorg on you, especially considering it's not meant for your skin type. It's such a graceful matte on you, and it held up fantastic imo to be a bb cream. Def peaked my interest!

That set down really nicely, very smooth and velvety looking. I'm really bad about remembering sunscreen on my arms, especially now that's it's warm enough to wear short sleeves. My husband had a tick in his hair the other day when he got back from walking the dog around our neighborhood. When they venture to the park, our dog comes home with them! It's pretty bad this year too. :-(

This is THE BEST FOUNDATION I've EVER used in my 66 years on this earth! I blurs pores and glides on the skin. Looks INCREDIBLE!!! You should try this. I've tried nearly every foundation imaginable, both drugstore and high end (mostly high end). This beats every other brand for me. I wear Light 1 which is a great neutral color. I don't want yellow/orange yet not red either. This is right in between. If you're not happy with your foundation, try this. You won't be disappointed!

I also got the hormonal jawline/chin bumps when everything started to shift. Luckily, it hasn’t been too bad. Glad to see you back!! I don’t know if you haven’t been posting much or i’m just not on here as much myself haha.

Menopause sux! I went through it at 26. I had to have ALL the lady bits cut out early. Been on hormones for most of my life. It’s not the end of the world, but some days are SUPER frustrating. I feel your pain.

Oof 26! My mom started going through it early but not that early! I was 19 and she had started going through menopause and I was pregnant so my poor dad had me pregnant, my mom going through menopause and my grandma. I’d be like I’m so hot, my mom would be like I’m burning up, he’d turn the air up, my grandma would be like I’m freezing! And so much more we put him through 😂 He was like I reaaaallly hope you have a boy 😂 I did fortunately for him hahaha!

I tried it, and it caused my skin to dry right up and flake away. I bought it after Nikki LaRose used it and recommended it. I am 58 and thankfully past menopause. Never really had any symptoms other than the blahs and the no energy to do anything, and of course weight gain. Now that I'm 58 and using bioidentical HRT, however, I'm down to below my fighting weight, with energy to spare. Don't miss those yucky years. LOVE estradiol, keeps everything humming.

I just saw someone comment on another video I watched reviewing this foundation and they said Patrick Starr recommended mixing it with your fave oil if you have dry skin and apparently demonstrated doing it on his IG, so I wonder how that would work? I’ve been wanting to try it but unsure because of my normal to dry, leaning more dry skin
@SusanSlattery2 жыл бұрын
@@onewhisper22005 I would worry about mixing with oil. Doesn't oil disrupt SPF? I mean, I use an oil cleanser to remove my SPF. Also I have SO MANY foundations, I couldn't care less about One/Size.
@onewhisper220052 жыл бұрын
@@SusanSlattery I’m not sure. I’ve read mixed things on that. Some say it does, others say it doesn’t. But most say to make sure facial oil has time to set in before going in with sunscreen. But I just usually use my facial oils at night to be safe. For me, I want a foundation to work and not have to do extra fuss like mixing it with something to get it to work for me. Like you said, there’s just so many others, why bother? 😂

Yes, hot flashes suck. Sitting there, relaxing, doing nothing - the next thing you know, you're drenched in sweat. When it ends and you're all wet, the A/C will naturally kick on then you freeze, b/c you're damp. Thank God for HRT, it helped me to get more than 3 hrs of sleep a night!! I plan on being on that for the rest of my life!!! Great foundation BTW, it may work well on me with my normal/combo skin!

This looked so nice on you! Both distant and up close in the camera. I think it is definitely one of the better ones that you have worn. Well done for your volunteering work too, good to have people muck in and help out for that. I am a member of a group down here in NZ called Wingspan and they heavily rely on volunteers to help out. They rehabilitate, look after those that can't be released back into the wild, educate people and help breed our native NZ Falcons. They do some amazing work and I'm sure your Wildlife Centre also does some great work and appreciates you a lot :).
@goow2 жыл бұрын
Wingspan sounds a lot like what we have going on at the Wildlife Center! Our education animals are former patients that could not be released back to the wild after their injuries but had temperaments suited to being around people. The goal is to treat to release but it's not always possible. Not that I ever want an animal to be unreleasable, but the ones that are make such good ambassadors for the messaging on how humans can reduce their negative impacts on wildlife and the environment.

Yes hot flashes usually happen at night but for me it’s all the time day and night. I just turned 47 and I’m definitely going through menopause. The worst part is the hot flashes. All I do is sweat and it’s horrible especially now at summer. I’m hoping it slacks off but it seems to be getting worse. If you are going through it try and get medication to help I can’t 8 have history of blood clots so 8 can’t take hormones.

I went through hot flashes about 8 years ago. It lasted a couple of years. I still get periods, but they’re winding down. I’m 51.
@nancyhowell77352 жыл бұрын
Sounds like menopause to me. Hot flashes from just breathing, heat comes from the center of your body and radiates out. I started with them at 26 during pregnancy with first child. Never stopped until mid/late 60s ( my family starts early and ends late). Had a hysterectomy at 33, but retained ovaries to avoid premature menopause. Now you need to go through all the foundations to see which can stand up to those hot flashes. Really love the hair color. Want to try a new color since the purple has grown out, but I’ve lost over 50% of my hair from age, stress and a run in with Covid-19. Was getting ready for the booster when I got sick. About a month after recovery, hair started coming out by the handfuls. Finally slowing down, but not a time to fool around with potentially damaging chemicals. Your the second influencer I’ve seen who has given this foundation high marks. Color may have looked too dark, but you looked ready for summer complete with tan. You and two others are my foundation gurus. Thanks.

That's an okay foundation, but I am currently still loving my MUFE HD and my next purchase will be the NARS. And unfortunately, my friend, yes, those are hot flashes and the beginnings of menopause. With luck, they won't be too bad. Make sure you get HRT - estrogen gel and progesterone. Otherwise old age sets in instantly, and you don't want everything to dry out and shrink. Your contacts will become difficult to remove - make sure you keep lubricating eye drops on hand and use them before you try to remove the contacts. The crazy witch hairs will spring up on the chin and the eyebrows will become more sparse. And everything turns grey. But you still look amazing. Keep up the skin care (and the make-up). There is something liberating about being older and being confident. (But the hot flashes suck. Hopefully you won't get night sweats). Thanks as always for another fab video.
