This story sounds simular to my husband and mines, only a few differences. Im 2 yrs older then my husband. We married before we were saved. I got saved 1 year into the marriage but my husband didnt. He was in to drugs and alcohol. We ended up divorcing. He moved 1200 miles away. Two years later he got saved and we remarried. We are both in our 60s and still married for 45 yrs by Gods grace.

Testimony is the result of a persevering heart. Kendra, I aplaude you for recognizing your issues while going through the valley. Dusty, I admire you for taking the needed steps to experience your healing. Dusty & Kendra, you have an unique story, because we hardly hear a man who will submit to godly counseling to save his marriage or family. May the Lord use your transparency to help struggling relationships!

It's great to hear such stories that turn out well and do not sound like a fairy tale from start to finìsh. It helps those with 'drama' relate and know that with God, commitment we can have a happy ending.

Powerful! That verse Ephesians 5:25 Dusty shared got me thinking on a number of things but conclusion so far is that, husbands as leaders in their families and marriages, have a special responsibility to turn broken marriages back to life. If husbands, at a personal level, can understand the love of Jesus and all the sacrifices He made for us, can better show and lead their wives in the same path and i tell you a normal wife wouldn't struggle to submit to that leadership from her husband. May God help men, husbands to get this revelation, and may God help wives to submit to that love of God through their husbands.

Ha ha, cute story Kendra and Dean. Sounds like my husband's and mine. I was 17 and my husband was 21 when we met. He came looking for me in my neighborhood (we met the night before at his dad's business) and found me walking to the park after Sunday dinner. He jumped out of the car and I could feel the adrenaline. What a gorgeous smile he had and the most beautiful blue eyes! Anyway, after exchanging a few words, he said, "I always get what I want, and I want you!" Well, we were married a year later and lasted 51 years when covid took his life in 2021. Like Kendra, I first said to myself, "Who is this guy??!!" But I knew he was special and I wasn't about to let him go lol.

I've been divorced twice. They both pretended to be saved but weren't. I was a beaten, battered wife. Cheated on. They both were addicts & unwilling to submit to God. Divorce is traumatizing but I hope to marry again. I've been single nearly 20 years and it gets lonely.

You need to be praying for your sister's and brothers. Not trying to be GOD by judging . The more viewers the more money l get that. You're going by it the wrong way . This is not GOD'S calling the way you're doing. You do reap what you sow. You will see it when it happen and GOD will bring it to your remembrance what was said. You're going by what the news of what and how it was man's interpretation is, but remenber GOD know the heart of men. A person can say something and the devil will twist what a man say and make it out of the way he want to hear it .thats his way of trickery. GOD word says. a evil heart believes lies " start praying instead of trying to expose and condemn one another this is a spiritual warfare we're in we ain't got time to keep trying to kill the body. We're in one body . GOD is growing us up to show us who we are in him to become like him amen
