Whenever I see Ronald Howard I always think of that Sherlock Holmes series.

How was Ronald Howard not a major movie star? He has the looks, the physique, the voice, and the acting chops! There must be a story there. Also, couldn't help noticing the resemblance of the wife to Frances Fisher, though I;m sure they're not related. I love seeing these actors in 1958, actors who, for the most part, I only really knew in their later years (1970's, 80's etc). These are wonderful stories, and really well written for a 25 minute escape!

Nice to see this again. I saw it in it's first run. This program was a favorite of mine. This show and Twilight Zone and Thriller with Boris Karloff were on around the same time. Such a wealth of this genre then when Westerns ruled!

this story was sad, but true. that was mean of him to leave that man to freeze to death; and it was sad for the bride - the whole situation. she knew something was "cold" and a spirit of peter was there
@conniecrawford52314 жыл бұрын
Why would you antagonize someone who is rescuing you? Peter was a nitwit!
@JGreen14 жыл бұрын
Yes but I suppose he thought he was just trying to lighten the situation. I had a forensic like that back in my secondary school days...

Peter was annoying. The little girl’s questions were funny. The bride’s dress was beautiful. The groom had low self esteem. Why would he marry someone whom he thought liked his best friend better than him?

The little girl is Veronica Cartwright -- she was one of the crew members in the first Alien film with Sigourney Weaver. Her sister Angela was in the Make Room For Daddy comedy series with Danny Thomas & later in the Lost In Space TV series.

Christine White looked a lot like a young Heather Angel here. And I'm a huge fan of Veronica Cartwright. As a child actress she projected a strident sincerity in her roles in which she portrayed little girls involved in stressful situations with adults.

After the confession I think nobody wanted him back home. If he survived the hard fall.. he most likely moved away with guilt heavy within till the day he passed. Mom told me of a couple of weird stories that haunted the small town for a great deal of time back in the 50s when she was young. Mystery is such a horrific enigma. Oh, I have a lot of questions I need Angels to answer to when I'm out of here.

that was an interesting story. it was sad, but i do believe the best man wanted revenge. when ghosts arrive, the air gets cold. i never experienced a ghost, but i seen the tv shows, """unexplained apparition"", """most haunted places in america""" "" "ghost hunters""", they said that people who have seen ghosts, the air always, always gets icy cold before any ghost appears
