Does this varnish give a glossy look ? Does it prevent the paint from fading away ? Is it easily available at the stationary store ?

Poornima Nair yes for all! Wherever u buy acrylic colors they will have acrylic varnish..

Does acrylic stick directly on glas. I tried it started peeling off. Then tried with primer. Again it peels if scratched peels off

How do you use the vanish after the painting is done and dry ?

Poornima Nair allow the paint to dry well...then give thin coat of varnish..allow it to dry completely and give one more thin coat

Priyam j. dutta if u don't use varnish the paint may come off eventually! Varnish seals the paint. You can get acrylic varnish in any craft supply stores where they sell acrylic colors

Hi! Please suggest a brand name for acrylic varnish. When i asked for the varnish the shopkeeper showed me those that are used on wooden furniture...i was not sure if that can be used for glass...

Madam, during painting flowers on the painted background the background colour gets removed.. how can we avoid this..??
