John where do find these songs? That one is a very solemn song . “Nor let me stand at last alone, upon the shore of death “. For sure! Something to close to home.

I have several hymn books. Some I find myself, some are requested, and some I hear listening to videos and then have to find the music. This one was requested by a friend who I had to check with, because I found about 5 different songs with the same name, the lyrics all written by the same person, but the music was by different writers. This one I got from Hymns for Worship.

@@tankerenator you really find some neat songs that I never heard of. As a family we are going through our old church hymnal, singing every song. Some times I’m the only one singing for it seems we didn’t sing half the songs., as church that is. There are a lot of wonderful songs that we missed out on.
