No its not, but Vidor, a nearby town, used to be and is still extremely racist.

@@kingleonidas6352My father grew up in Orange and moved to Tulsa after military service in the late 60's. When we would drive down there for visits to his family (mid 80's through early 90's), we would go STRAIGHT THROUGH Vidor! Get your gas and make sure everything is in good working order well before you hit the edge of town so you can slide on through, keeping an eye on all speed limits and traffic regulations. Daddy didn't play about Vidor (we're a Black family, if you haven't guessed). Haven't been that way in a little over 20 years, but from your comment, it sounds like things are still a bit sketchy. 🫤
