Many countries give trouble regarding drones, and it’s in an effort to stifle journalism. In the USA, we watched the FAA roll out new rules for flying after a pipeline protest gained national attention and an artist filmed the police’s illegal activities with a drone. They proceeded to shoot the drone down and lock the artist up for 2 years. Charges were all eventually dropped, and now the artist is counter suing the police. This was in 2016/2017. Crazy stuff.

It is what it is, I suppose. I'm looking at getting my pilot license soon for work in the US. Not looking forward to the red tape but that $$$ will be great!
